These pink Converse are an absolute dream come true! Not only is the color vibrant and fun, but they're also unbelievably comfortable. I can wear them all day without any issues, which is a huge plus for me.I also want to give a big shoutout to FinishLine. I cried when I tried these on for the first time. I've always been a huge fan of converse because I love how they look, but as someone with wide feet, I used to have to size up and I have always endured a painful and long breaking in process. I loved how they looked, but they were always too long for my feet to make up for the width. I was hopeful when I saw that Converse sells wide width shoes now, but these SURPASSED my expectations! Never in my life did I think I would be able to try on a pair of converse straight out of the box and have them fit my foot like a glove. I felt like Cinderella! These are my new favorite shoes and I plan to buy them in a handful of colors. I love all Converse shoes. This color in particular goes with nearly everything I wear. They are comfortable and seem sturdier than I’m used to, although that could be just me since I’m used to a different style. Eventually I’ll have every color:-) and I’m getting close. The color of these shoes is interesting. Not pink, which I was glad when I got them, but a more muted tone, literally quite close to the color of clay. I truly love the color, the fit is as expected and the comfort level. Thank you. On verse, for providing great quality products. I can’t get enough. I still have my first pair and it’s been years and years.
Long time Chuck wearer. I love these shoes and they are perfect for my old lady orthotics and arch supports since they have flat bottoms. Giving four stars because the tongue is too long and it rubs the front of my ankle. I compared with an older pair and the tongues weren’t always this long so I’m not sure when they thought lengthening that was necessary but I wish they’d shorten it again. I work around it by tying the laces BEHIND the tongue to keep it away from the skin but it would be cool to not have to worry about front ankle blisters. Still, I’ve been wearing these for too long to give up on them. Would buy again, I’ll just whine about the tongue when I do.
I've been wearing Chuck Taylor All Star high tops for over 50 years as my primary everyday shoe. These black monochorome high tops are more comfortable, than the standard Chuck Taylor All Star high tops I've every worn. I bought the monochrome at the same time I bought a standard Black (black and white) pair. The monochrome seem less stiff right out of the box, have more comfortable coushioning inside and seem a little lighter. (The weight may just be my perception since they are more comfortable than the standard black pair I bought). Excellent buy!
Being 77 years young, I remember when Converse All Stars were the shoe of choice. A substantial shoe capable of living up to the demands of an intense high school basketball game.The 2024 version resembles the 1965 version only in looks. There's nothing to this shoe. A thin canvas membrane with no cushioning whatsoever. When they improve this shoe, I'll be the first in line to buy it, but until then, I'm not giving it another thought. I guess I'm looking for the "Restomod" version...
I marked these true to size since the size chart recommends sizing down. I usually wear a 9.5W shoe and got these in a solid 9W. They are PERFECT in every way: 1. They are the most beautiful shade of a bubblegum/hot pink. 2. They are very comfortable! 3. They have the tab that keeps the tongue of your shoe in place. You know that little piece of fabric under your laces that you weave the laces through? Why do some converse NOT have that anymore? It bothers me so much when the tongue of a high top is all the way to the side. Anyways, get these shoes. Highly recommend 🩷

I am normally a 7 or 7.5 in shoes and I ordered those sizes here (they say to size down, but I figured the 7 would fit). The 7s were comfortable but still too long so I ordered the 6.5. Length was perfect but the heels were rubbing when I tried them on and I noticed that the 6.5 had stitching in the inner back of the heel that the 7s and 7.5s didn't have. I have been buying this shoe for 12 years. This is my ninth pair. I SUPER love that they're now available in wide sizes and my last pair lasted longer than previous pairs because they weren't splitting on either side of the toe box because of the extra space. What I'm not a fan of is the now polyester/blend lining on the inside. They don't breathe quite like the cotton/muslin-lined versions. I wish for a return to cotton lining and for wide sizes to be available in stores instead of just online.
