I bought tbese a few weeks ago. Love converse but usually just have white ones. I thought I’d try another colour. I love these but I wouldn’t describe them as charcoal. They are more brown/beige. Only other downfall, but I find this with all converse, they squeak.
I ordered these because my previous shoes were converse and I wanted something the same that wouldn't rub my feet. These arrived in perfect condition I love the colour and fit me perfectly. They rub a little bit on one side but I think this is just because they're brand new and need wearing in a bit first. Otherwise I'm very happy with them.

I get these all the time for work, sadly the bottoms always go holey after 4/5 months which is a shame but as they have such a thin sole, Im hoping next start doing the plain black platform ones anytime soon ?!

These are very comfortable and go well with pretty much anything.They are also an excellent value. As other's suggested, do size down. I typically wear 10.5 in most running shoes (e.g., Salomon, Saucony, New Balance, etc), and I bought these in size 10. They fit well with thicker socks, but I probably could have even went with a 9.5.
I have been after a pair in this colour for a few weeks now, this is no where near charcoal its more like a light brown colour which is perfect with my brown/chocolate jeans. great value, quick delivery. very comfortable.
