These shoes have a traditional fit and are true to size in the Converse realm. The same fabric is used throughout the entire shoe, which is the thicker canvas-type of material. I Love these sneaker boots. I'm usually a size 10 in converse sneakers, however, I get 10.5 if the sneaker has that size. I ordered these sneaker boots in a size 10.5 and I love the little extra room in the front of the sneaker. I love the Zipper because I laced them up first to get the room I needed, because of my muscular calves: then I zipped them up. This way I only have to zip and unzip to wear them. I ordered the Black and White pair. They will be great for school as a substitute teacher especially during recess as to my regular boots. I love the 70s and 80s fashion and these sneaker boots fits great with my wardrobe. My parents couldn't afford them when they were in style during that time: bless their hearts and hardwork. My Wife loves Chuck Taylor Shoes and knee-high boots, so when I saw the Chuck Taylor All-Star XX-Hi Sneakers she had to have them. These sneakers take the original All-Stars to a new level. This shoe as far as feel and craftsmanship is classic. The super high top is a little off. It's for a smaller calf and doesn't look too cool having to unzip the back. As a man wearing the shoe it's a little uncomfortable in the leg. But....... my 16 year old daughter thought they were amazing. They fit properly and look great. The stability is agreed upon by us both. Laces go all the way up and there's a really cool zipper all the way up the back. Even the white shoe is nice to look at but you don't fear getting it dirty. We both agree it's really comfortable and really durably made. These shoes were such a hit! I paired these white XX Hi Converse shoes with white biker shorts and a anime shirt for a family party. Everyone asked me where I got them because they wanted them too!These are very stylish shoes, however it did take some time to lace them up. Fortunately, the zipper on the back makes it easy for me to put them on and take them off. The sizing is true to Converse size, however, if you have bigger calves, this may not work for you. You can adjust the laces for more wiggle room if necessary, but if your calves are exceptionally large, there will be gaps in the front.Overall, I recommend these shoes for people between the ages of 10-40! They are so youthful and trendy!
