If you’re looking for a shoe that’s great for getting you around town while pulling your outfit together, these are my go-to. Let’s get the downside out of the way…there’s only one. I usually wear an 8.5 but sized down to an 8 which fit, overall, well, but causes me to give 4 stars instead of 5 because of how snug the shoes were on the widest part of my foot. I felt it needed a little wider foot bed. Aside from that, I love these shoes. The design is fun with the classic star on the back (bonus points for having the tread up the back so it’s doesn’t wear out from driving or from closing doors with your heel). These shoes are beautiful. As soon as I opened the box, I knew these were going to be my new favorite sneakers.The color and style was the first thing to catch my attention. They almost appear lavender in color and that is one of my favorite colors to wear. The soles are solid and I feel like i could handle any terrain, whether im chasing my kid at the park or through a geocery store!I could not wait to try them on!However, they are too small. I always thought Converse ran a little big so when they didn't have my usual size it was recommended to go half a size smaller. Turns out, they are quite tight. I received the Converse Run Star Trainer and I love, love, love these shoes!!! I have always loved Converse shoes, but these are by far the most comfortable! I am very boring when it comes to shoes (I only buy black, white, gray, or brown shoes), so getting the red and pink Converse Run Star Trainer was a little out of the norm for me. The colors are bright and pop, and I couldn’t be more excited to try them out. The inside of the shoe feels like memory foam, and still provides great support when walking/running on roads. I feel so chic in these shoes! I have been looking for a slim, off white athletic fashion trainer and the look of the Star Runner for the bill perfectly.These are definitely “fashion” shoes - not shoes that I would use for an athletic purpose. Love that these will be versatile for the seasons. I’m looking forward to wearing these with dresses this summer and cropped jeans in the fall. I wouldn’t use them for exercise as the sole completely flat and therefore not much support.I took away one star for fit.
