The real converse version are wider in the toe box which is better for feet. They have flat footbeds which isn’t the greatest for arch support, but it’s probably ok for regular daily use.

We are a Converse family. I love my Converse so much that when my son was born I bought these. He wore them when he was learning to walk and now they are put up in his keepsake box. Converse are a classic and they look amazing with almost every outfit. They are built to last. They are so comfortable too. With them being flat it really helped to teach my son to walk flat footed instead of on tiptoes.
It's a little narrow at the toes but I use something to stretch them out. Because it's unisex, it's a bit loose. I'm 30 and wear them for comfort and style. I love the bright pink color I ordered. Perfect for my summer wardrobe. I just want to make a comment about the soles of all the company's shoe soles being heavy

As you know they have the slip-ons, tie-ups, and different colors, but they also have high tops and low tops. The high tops go above your ankles and also come in multiple colors. Once I saw someone's converse had pineapples all over them as a design. You can get different designs other than pineapples though. You can get roses, flowers, a cartoon character, neon colors, and much more. I think I would get the pineapple shoes. I personally think if I didn't chose a crazy design then I would get the black slip-ons because then I don't have to tie them every time I wear them and also because then they won't get dirty as easily. I think I will have to bleach my white ones sometime soon. I would rate my white slip-ons a 3 out of 4 because of the getting dirty and black tie-ups a 4 out of 5 because they don’t get dirty and also they take a long time to time. I got these for my 8 year old daughter in black. She normally uses a size 3 but after reading multiple reviews decided to size go down half a size. I opted for 2 1/2. I'm glad I did. They fit perfect and she loves them. I might get her another pair soon in a different color. If you're planning on getting some for your kid, I would definitely size down a half size.
This is my second pair of Classic Chucks for my little boy. I love the way they fit, and look. They're somewhat minimalist, which we love, they're comfy, cute and most surprising- they're very reasonably priced!Buying direct from Converse has been my best experience yet, and I will continue buying Classic Chucks as long as the quality and customer service stays this good.
