These were for my wifey who said she put on the shoes and they took her straight back to the 90s/2000s, in a good way. And she felt like the super cool older sister to our children now instead of their mom. She got these in her usual Converse size (7.5) but they seemed slightly big. Because she's petite, the canvas part seemed to hit her at an odd place on the back of her leg and also seemed higher than regular high tops. Converse shoes are an icon of many decades, set in our minds as the flat-sole, canvas skater shoes. I was surprised, then, to see them role out the classic top with these thick athletic soles. I had never seen these shoes with this type of bottom before. At first, taking them out of the box I was wondering if I would truly like them. It turns out that I love them! These shoes are extremely comfortable and that is of significant importance to me. The size actually fits which I note has been more difficult to find the past few years. I wore these shoes all day today and had no problems. The slightly raised heal is not very noticeable when you are wearing them. The heal gives me a bit of height and I’ll take it where I can get it! I would highly recommend these shoes if you are looking for an everyday pair of shoes that are comfortable.

I got the Run Star Legacy CX shoes for my husband and he loved them. Normally we are a low top household for the speed of putting them on. But my husband was complaining about needing some more support for his ankles. These shoes are awesome from support to style.My husband says he loved the look of the shoes and the cushions were so soft it was like walking in clouds. They are surprisingly super comfortable & not really heavy considering they’re platforms. The quality is A+. The texture, feel, etc is all true to the Converse Brand.I really like them. They work well paired with pretty much anything. I’m not sure how that works, but it does. Lol. The design is futuristic & now. The color is deep & vibrant.I wished they were just a tad bit wider, but that’s only because I have a wider than average foot; other than that, I have zero complaints.
I am a 36 yr old mother of 2 from the suburbs and I was NOT sure I could pull these shoes off, but I wanted (/needed?) something stylish yet comfortable. These shoes are big, but somehow not that heavy? And HOW are they so soft?!? the outside is soft, the inside is soft... They are also very easy to slip on and tie up - which is necessary with 2 small kids! I just don't know how I'm going to keep them clean, but otherwise I am very impressed with this product. They definitely leveled up my shoe game.

The run star legacy textured shoe is true to size and very comfortable. Normally I have to go down a size in this brand but that was not the case with this shoe. I was able to walk in the shoe without any discomfort. I have flat feet so not all shoes allow me to walk without comfort for longer periods of time.The texture on the shoe was noticeable but was very subtle which I preferred! I normally would not pick a textured shoe but this one worked for me. I love the color of the maroon as well!The platform of the shoe was high. As a shorter woman, it have me a lift. The one thing I would change is the shoe width. The shoe was a wider style on my foot and I do wish it was more slim than it was.
I love the color combination of these shoes, and they're very comfortable. Since the soles are so thick, it's practically like walking on a mattress! They seem to run TTS. When I tried them on at first, I wondered if they looked a little funny, like clown shoes, since the soles were so thick. But my husband said they actually looked pretty cool! I especially like how they look from the back. I think they make a unique statement piece and would be fun to style. Plus, they're surprisingly practical and comfortable for walking.
