First, converse has a great return policy and I really do love the shoes. I love the look and style. I love that they make me taller too. BUT I don’t like the fit. I am usually a 6.5-7. I tried the 6.5 and my heel slipped out the back. I downsized to a 6 and my heel still slips out. I can’t go any smaller or the shoe will be tight elsewhere. It’s frustrating. My feet are normal width but these just aren’t tight enough around the heel, even with a heel insert. I’m keeping them, but I know I can’t wear them for long walking adventures.

The shoe itself is super cute and definitely brings lift. HOWEVER, I am normally a size 6.5W in Converse (normally a 7 in all other shoes). I ordered a half size down so size 6W and it was BIG. It slipped off from the back of my heel so I did an exchange and got a 5.5W. Put them on and they STILL slip off the back of my heel.. I got tired of doing the most for these shoes so I just bought rubber heel stickers so it doesn’t slip off my heel and I tie them pretty tight. Perhaps these types of shoes run bigger than the high tops. I have 7 other pairs all high tops and all 6.5W. Still cute and would purchase another low top lift pair now that I am aware.

I usually get regular low tops and have been for over thirty years. I decided to get the platforms for the summer because they are cute and go well with dresses as well as pants. These run a little big so I went went the suggested half size down, a full size down was too small but these were slightly too big. Nothing that would stop me from keeping them. I do however, dislike the laces. They are rather thin and I don't know if they will hold up so I just ordered a pair of standard low top laces to replace them. Overall a great shoe.

FINALLY Converse for wide feet!! I was nervous about the sizing as I usually wear 8 or 8.5. I got 8 wide which is my usual size and I LOVE them. They are cute and comfortable and fit great. Please make all your shoes available in wide!!
My 15 year old daughter convinced me to purchase these. And I really do like them. Pretty comfortable, and I love a platform since I'm short. They are a little stiff since they're new but I'm sure with some wear they will break in. They definitely run big so size down for sure. I'm a firm 8 in most shoes and ordered a 7.5 and still have a bit of room for thicker socks. I do recommend if you like a comfy tennie!
I LOVE these! Love the classic look with the platform heel. They are a little big, but not enough to go down a size...I ordered size 8, my normal size. There is room in the heel, but they are cute and classic! I think I will add a heel gel pad, so it does not rub. I think this is a converse thing. My others fit the same. No complaint, just transparency.
They're okay for the price, it's my new daily shoe, and it's a little big on me even after going a size down, but I'm pretty sure it's just me not being used to something that's not a high-top and that completely goes over your heels. Hard to walk in sometimes because they fall off after being tightly laced all the way up and they're hard to put back on mid-walk. Overall, they're good. I would recommend these. I'm just not accustomed to the lowness of the shoe.
Still breaking these in - definitely stiffer than the non-platforms. I sized down a half size based on recommendations and they are definitely right. The heel in these is also wider than my other Converse - I’m contemplating getting those heel liners to close the gap. Thick socks help. They look great, just getting used to the fit.
Absolutely love the look of these shoes with pants, shorts and sporty dresses. I greatly prefer Canvas to leather for the summer and the platform offers nice height. These shoes are a bit on the heavy side and while the soles are cushiony, they are also pretty inflexible. I do wish I’d followed the recommendation to go down a half size. I’m between a 6 1/2 and 7 so I stuck with 6 1/2 but definitely could’ve done a 6. I get some slippage in the back.
wow the sizing with converse is really all over the place. I sized down according to reviews and description but even so I need to go down a half size more. Normally a 7.5 I may try a 6.5 in the future but because sizing seems so inconsistent these days I kinda don't want to bother either? Not sure it's worth it.
