These are great classic converse. The color and style are perfect for everyday wear. I was surprised that they changed the interior of the shoe. Instead of the classic canvas there is now a spongy waffled material. But everything else is the same. The shoe seems like it would be heavy but they’re not. I love this shoe.

The added platform sole gives a modern twist to the classic design. Very good quality and price too.

The shoes are cute and very comfortable, but I have had two pairs now and the laces snapped in the first week of wearing them. It’ll be while I’m out walking and I have to tie knots in the laces to piece them back together. One of the pairs is crooked too it’s weird. One side is higher than the other. Love the look but pretty disappointed since I’ve tried two pairs now and am having the same issue. I don’t tie them tight either. I have never had this problem with any other converse I’ve owned. The overall comfort/quality of the rest of the shoe is better than any of my other converse I’ve owned, but the laces are just soo cheesy.

I bought these shoes as my wedding shoes this year. They're incredibly comfy to wear longer during the day, and have been my go-to on my honeymoon. However. After only wearing them for around a week, the laces have became black where they're rubbing on the metal holes. And now after only 2.5 weeks, one of the laces snapped in my hand when tying up the shoes. Really disappointed as they're so comfy and thought they'd be great. I'm passed the return bracket now, so can't have them exchanged.
These are so cute! They might be a little bit pricey but that’s because they are made great I’ve been walking around on these for over 6 hours at a time and my feet barely hurt. They are cute, stylish, functional, and very comfy. When I get enough money I will definitely be buying more in different colors like the pink. These are so cute!!! So to be very clear- these run VERY SMALL. If reviews say that customers say they run large that is why. They don't. It also defaults to 'comfortable' when I try to click that they are not very comfortable. Those points are not actually gathering customer information, they are giving a false impression, weirdly. I also said the quality was 'good' and it defaulted to 'great'. Hm! Possibly most weird is where I said I woud reccommend to a freind and it has selected that I would not! I love them and they get compliments, but the rubber comes high and really hurts on the inside toe joint!! I love them too much to send back so I am slowly breaking them in with shoe stretchers and wearing protective plasters. They are very comfortable otherwise so normal footed people need not worry at all.
I’m absolutely obsessed with these and wear them all the time! I’m a size 10 in pretty much all sneakers so went with the 9.5 as recommended. Definitely the right call cause they fit perfectly! I can do a lot of walking around and stay comfy. I have small heels and ankles while the front part of my foot is wider, but these still fit fine - I just make sure I tie the laces tight enough. I love the platform on them and they go with literally everything. The high top part of the shoes are a bit thicker - as if they have a cushion to them. It’s not visibly noticeable, but adds some comfort.
The comfiest!!!! Converse really changed it up with the cushioning. I can walk forever in these shoes. I also upgraded to these platforms, and best decision ever. It's not too heavy, which is my issue w platforms sometimes.I also had black high cut Chucks back in high school (15 yrs ago now!) And it makes me smile everytime I wear this now. Happy memories w my Chucks and now Im making new ones!
Im usually a normal women's 9 in most shoes and have always sized down for converse since they say to, but I've never felt like they've broken in enough to be able to wear for longer periods of time so I never wear them which is a bummer. I realized my foot shape must be slightly on the wider side in converse terms so I started buying true to size and it's soooo much better for me. I'd say the 9 is *just* ever so slightly a little bigger lengthwise than I need, but it's immediately been way more comfortable than the 8.5 I originally tried on the sides of my feet. Definitely don't be afraid to stay true to size!
I've had these for almost a year. my biggest issue with them is that the tongue of the shoe isn't secured by anything so it moves. I'm autistic and this makes a very big sensory issue for me since it ends up going around and under my foot. looking to get them altered by a guy in my area so I can wear them more. the padding also leaves something to be desired, I've tried inserts but they end up giving enough of a platform that they bump my feet right against the top of the shoe, so I have to go without them. things could be better, but they could also be worse.
