In the colder months I wear Dr. Marten boots, but with spring and summer here I need something lighter. I like a little bit of extra space for my toes. I have narrow feet, but as long as I tie them snugly, I don’t experience any slipping in the heel. Bottom line - I highly recommend these. Love the pale yellow color. Also purchased the black, and another style platforms in orange. Sweet!

First, converse has a great return policy and I really do love the shoes. I love the look and style. I love that they make me taller too. BUT I don’t like the fit. I am usually a 6.5-7. I tried the 6.5 and my heel slipped out the back. I downsized to a 6 and my heel still slips out. I can’t go any smaller or the shoe will be tight elsewhere. It’s frustrating. My feet are normal width but these just aren’t tight enough around the heel, even with a heel insert. I’m keeping them, but I know I can’t wear them for long walking adventures.

I bought these trainers a month ago for my Danube cruise. I am never without my converse, but have never purchased the converse 'lift' before.. and I have to say they look so fab on...and have been admired by lots of people. I love to wear them with my little summer dresses, shorts, and jeans, and saved me a lot of weight in my suitcase as they really are the one shoe suits all.The only thing I would say is, I always have a size 8, but these fit more like a 8.5. However I have just placed a heel grip at the back of the shoe and that is now perfect for me. Love these beauties.
