I had a pair of converse about 10-15 years ago and they have definitely changed the quality since then, the laces feel more like a loose knit plastic than cotton as they used to and the white rubbery parts also feel more like softer plastic than my last pair. One thing I like is that the sole feels more cushioned than it used to but they're a tiny bit slippery. I am so grateful that Converse make shoes in half size AND wide fit.

Ordered a whole size smaller and they’re still too big! Usually a women’s size 8/41 so ordered a 7. It seems I actually need a 6.5, which is sold out. And I know for sure that my feet have NOT SHRUNK! Majorly disappointed :(

I bought my normal size 6.5 and they fit fine, I think I could have got away with a 7 but didn’t want to risk them having too much space in the toe. I would go for your normal size unless you want them more spacious. Width is great, only slight rubbage on the left little toe which is understandable as they taper.I’m not used to have such a flat / thin sole though so it’s taking a little getting used to but these are my first converse for years as they’ve always been too narrow. Result!

I will be doing next time I buy some.If you have more narrow feet and just find the regular fit of converse to be too uncomfortable (as my partner does) then I would recommend ordering your regular size.
I really wanted a pair but afraid of the usual fit so never had one before. Got the wide fit and I have to say it’s perfect, they are beautiful , goes with pretty much everything and very comfortable.Size: I read you should go half size down and I even measured my foot, took 40 when usually I’m 40.5 and it’s prefect.Really recommend
I gave up using converse because my feet feels compressed but the wide fit is so comfy to use! I love it. If only they have other colors. I wouldve bought more or at least a wide fit non hifh cut boots.Honestly, if your feet love converse but feels compress most of the time. Try this one out!!!!
I’m an Aus 6.5 or UK4. These arrived and were labelled UK3.5. Was worried they’d be too small but they fit perfectly. The wider fit is great! Just a fyi for anyone in a rush, ASOS shipping tends to take a good 2 weeks to arrive. But often worth it for the competitive prices.
So happy that Converse has made wide-fit models. I've small but wide feet and I always have to size up because of the width of my feet. I've had multiple pairs of Converse but never a wide-fit model. I was doubtful of the pair being actually wide fit, as many shoes, even though advertised wide-fit, really aren't that wide. But these are so roomy and comfy for my wide feet. First pair of wide-fit shoes where I acutally feel that they're wide fit!When I ordered the pair, I sized up (as I usually do because of my wide feet) but I could have stayed true to size and they would have fit perfectly :)
these are labelled as 'wide fit', which they were not at all. i compared the size with my standard converse and they had the exact same width.i even bought a size down as recommended and they fit length wise like usual but they were far too narrow. i was really looking forward to these so it was disappointing, hopefully there will be some converse that fit my monster munch feet someday.
