I have been purchasing and wearing these shoes for over 10 years. They are truly a classic, with a long lifespan. I can get about 2 years out of each pair. I am generally a women’s 9.5 and find them to run true. The white is a nice shade, not too warm not too cool. A bit of isopropyl alcohol cleans up the rubber easily, I also toss mine in the wash and they come out looking new, although I doubt this is recommended lol. Don’t put in the dryer for long as they can shrink and feel tight afterwards.

I had a pair of these trainers which I wore all the time as they were so comfy to wear, they were my go to trainers. They go with so many different outfits; jeans, leggings, skirts or shorts. Overall I have had several pairs of these trainers, they are long lasting. I think the price of converse is reasonable compared to some other trainer brands. The sizing was true to size, I bought a size 5 and they fitted perfectly. It’s good that converse has now expanded its range and you can get these trainers in wide fit so they are ideal for more people.

Lightweight Classic

I saw a woman wearing these white low top Converse and after a second look noticed they were leather! I thought leather would be a great alternative to canvas for a white shoe so that I could easily clean them if they got dirty. The white isn’t a stark white and the leather is soft and the shoe comfortable. I received compliments the first day I wore them and upon first glance, no one could tell they were leather! I just wish Converse were true to size. I am a true size 10.5 and had to order a few different pairs to get the fit right. I ended up with a size 9.5. I think Converse would save a lot of money in shipping and a lot of headaches if their shoe sizes were honest and accurate.

Love them despite the tongue issue

Long time Chuck wearer. I love these shoes and they are perfect for my old lady orthotics and arch supports since they have flat bottoms. Giving four stars because the tongue is too long and it rubs the front of my ankle. I compared with an older pair and the tongues weren’t always this long so I’m not sure when they thought lengthening that was necessary but I wish they’d shorten it again. I work around it by tying the laces BEHIND the tongue to keep it away from the skin but it would be cool to not have to worry about front ankle blisters. Still, I’ve been wearing these for too long to give up on them. Would buy again, I’ll just whine about the tongue when I do.

Perfect Converse

I marked these true to size since the size chart recommends sizing down. I usually wear a 9.5W shoe and got these in a solid 9W. They are PERFECT in every way: 1. They are the most beautiful shade of a bubblegum/hot pink. 2. They are very comfortable! 3. They have the tab that keeps the tongue of your shoe in place. You know that little piece of fabric under your laces that you weave the laces through? Why do some converse NOT have that anymore? It bothers me so much when the tongue of a high top is all the way to the side. Anyways, get these shoes. Highly recommend 🩷

Perfect warm weather sneakers.

I always like converse all stars for the warm weather. They are the perfect summer sneakers. The canvas feels very stiff when they are new but my old ones after 4 years the canvas is softer. They feel kinda wonky at first but I think all good sneakers have a break in time. I always go a whole size down in these, and get the wide width which is really like a regular width. I love them cause they are the only sneakers I like to wear when it’s hot out and they go with everything.

quality isn't what it used to be

I've been wearing Chucks since the 90s and these are just not the same quality I'm used to. The plastic is very shiny, the shoes seem to be more narrow than before, and the tongue is missing the converse logo i have in older versions, and the tongue is also missing the tab to keep it in place with the shoe laces. They are listed as running large but in my opinion, they definitely do not. I bought my regular size (7 in women) and they actually fit very snuggly...enough so where I should have actually bought a half-size up for better comfort. love the color but overall disappointed in the look and fit.
