I love these shoes so much. I bought my first pair almost 8 years ago and they have been my go to shoe ever since. I just purchased my third pair. I wear them almost everyday. They are comfortable and go with everything! I am tall but I love a platform and these are just tall enough to look like a platform without being over the top. The extra height in the sole is also practical. With lower shoes water on the ground gets into the shoes easier and dirt and mud dirty the fabric portion of the shoe more. These just tend to get dirty on the sides of the soles which is easy to wipe off. If you are looking for a comfortable and cute every day platform shoe, this is the one to buy.

Can’t say I’m impressed ..

I like the look of these converse. That’s about it.I’ve been wearing converse shoes in the same size for 15 years - so when I ordered these platform ones I assumed the same. The first time I wear them out my feet are literally sliding out the back of them, no matter how tight I tie the laces. Unfortunately it rained that first and only time I wore them so I can’t return. Been looking up different ways to help the slip but I’d say they’re just too big.Don’t make converse like they used to yet they’re much more expensive. I prefer vans or nike and might need to admit converse just aren’t to the same standard anymore! Recommend sizing down if you’re set on these shoes but other wise I would advise to look at other brands.

Comfy and cute just a little big

The shoe itself is super cute and definitely brings lift. HOWEVER, I am normally a size 6.5W in Converse (normally a 7 in all other shoes). I ordered a half size down so size 6W and it was BIG. It slipped off from the back of my heel so I did an exchange and got a 5.5W. Put them on and they STILL slip off the back of my heel.. I got tired of doing the most for these shoes so I just bought rubber heel stickers so it doesn’t slip off my heel and I tie them pretty tight. Perhaps these types of shoes run bigger than the high tops. I have 7 other pairs all high tops and all 6.5W. Still cute and would purchase another low top lift pair now that I am aware.

Cute and versatile

I usually get regular low tops and have been for over thirty years. I decided to get the platforms for the summer because they are cute and go well with dresses as well as pants. These run a little big so I went went the suggested half size down, a full size down was too small but these were slightly too big. Nothing that would stop me from keeping them. I do however, dislike the laces. They are rather thin and I don't know if they will hold up so I just ordered a pair of standard low top laces to replace them. Overall a great shoe.

GROSS

I got my shoes in- and they have clearly been worn. They came absolutely disgusting. Filled with dog/cat hair (and we don’t even have an animal). Soles were dirty, tongue was dirty, the back on the shoes scuffed. Someone clearly wore these and returned them, Nordstrom obviously did not review the shoes before just throwing them back in stock and mailing them out to someone else.

Shrinkflation ruins reputations

Vans are no longer made from cotton. The polyester material doesn't breathe. The material gets thinner every year. Companies like doc martens keep the quality, but raise the price. I prefer this to an inferior product with the same price, but lower quality. Next year vans will sell laces and a sole only due to shrinkflation. Kinda sad. Loved my old vans pros. Went downhill from there imo. Has anyone ever won a $300 voucher for giving a true review? Doubt it.

Sizing is way off

Love these shoes but the sizing is way off. I read reviews and ordered a 1/2 size down as recommended but they are still too big and unfortunately I didn't realize it enough until I already wore them. My heel slips right out of the back and my socks immediately slide off. I bought heel cushions to help them fit better but they are still too big and slipping. I wish I could go another size smaller but I already wore the shoe out.

Super cute but a little clunky

Absolutely love the look of these shoes with pants, shorts and sporty dresses. I greatly prefer Canvas to leather for the summer and the platform offers nice height. These shoes are a bit on the heavy side and while the soles are cushiony, they are also pretty inflexible. I do wish I’d followed the recommendation to go down a half size. I’m between a 6 1/2 and 7 so I stuck with 6 1/2 but definitely could’ve done a 6. I get some slippage in the back.
