Canvas upper. Vintage stitching. Metal eyelets. Rubber foxing. Rubber toe cap. Vulcanized rubber sole. Advanced cushioning in the midsole for comfort. Branded insoles. License plate logo. No matter the current trend, the Chuck 70 never goes out of style. Recently, the iconic Converse silhouette has been updated with modern details that improve the overall design and simultaneously celebrate the original model. Minor changes include a heavier canvas, vintage stitching, slightly higher rubber foxing, more substantial rubber toe cap, and advanced cushioning in the midsole that enhances comfort. Still, the Chuck 70 looks like the same classic shoe from decades ago. The iconic sneaker can be paired with shorts and a T-shirt, jeans and a hoodie, and even slacks — there’s virtually nothing you can’t wear it with.

I have several Converse sneakers, even the ones from a few years ago with the Nike Lunarlon insole. The insole in these is similar and just as comfortable, a no brainer upgrade in classic converse sneakers. These do run big for Converse. Ordered my usual 6.5 and they are a 1/2 size too big. They are wider than usual, and fit more like a Men’s shoe. Parchment color is as pictured. Love them! I highly recommend sizing down 1/2 size based on your Converse size. I gave them 4 stars only for the price point.
Firstly - order 1/2 a size down. I’d read other reviews and they were dead on. I’m typically a size 8 in women’s and after reading the reviews I ordered the size 7 1/2 and I was so glad! They fit perfectly, looked adorable, and I could tell be happier with my choice! There’s also something extra amazing going on with these chucks - after hours standing my feet felt comfortable in them. Great job Converse for listening to the parents’ needs as Well as our youth
I have always loved converse but they were never comfortable. But now they’ve upgraded them with an amazingly soft cushion inner sole. I just got a full time job standing on cement floors all day and these shoes help my sore feet. I’ve worn them all day and they are my most comfortable shoes I own.
Bought these to go with a mustard gold flowered midi dress (also from Nordstrom’s) that I wore to an outdoor wedding in the mountains. I had spent weeks looking for boots as we had to hike to the wedding venue. Not only were these the perfect answer as they were comfortable and cute, I got many, many compliments. Good thing I never found boots!
This shoes are not style 70's.It's regular Converse Chuck Taylor low .Of course, are a little more confort insole inside. But don't get confused, are not 70's70's are more expensive like 80.00 bucks.I hope this review can help.Any ways. I love Converse. I wore them al day long. I love them, I had over 50 pairs but hi top
I bought the sunflower yellow and I just love the happy color and I get lots of compliments because of the not so ordinary color. These Converse version has a little more padding w/c is very much welcome. I have several pairs of Converse including the Commes des Garçons collabs. They are 1/2 size larger but with socks or liners on, they fit perfect and accomodates my bunions w/o pressing or hurting them.
Cute shoes even though it didn’t work for me because a 5.5 was still too long for my regularly 6.5 shoe size. Too bad for me because that’s the smallest size. Very comfortable insole. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone w wide feet— the shoe is extremely narrow. Sunflower is a perfect name for the color.
