Fresh, Fruity, Blue-ish vibe. Good pleasant non offensive yet dynamic smell. Probably good for casual evening out. Club, Pub, bar maybe. This is nothing like the classic decades old cool water, (I have a bottle of that) they are not the same. This is a completely different scent so you're not buying the same thing twice with this. This is for the evening when you're on holiday type scent.

I don't know why they call it cool water, cause it has really nothing to do with the original one. Possibly it is a marketing strategy to attract loyal cool water eau de toilette enthusiasts and give an iconic name to a new perfume. The scent is "sweet" and much more for younger people in my opinion. Anyway if you like cool water eau de toilette as I do, this is just totally different. Also in term of intensity, is not as intense as I would have expected. It is long lasting, the reason why I didn't give one star.

This was my first fragrance and I have since gone onto buy a few more designer fragrances. Ideally you should go and smell as many as many scents and pick which one YOU like. However if you are a newbie and looking to make an blind buy this is perfect. The cool water scent is one of the all time best sellers of any fragrance for a reason as everyone loves it, and its great for people to walk into your room and ask what is that amazing smell. Very citrusy and refreshing.
