With the new firmware(1.3.1) it's good, high brightness, nice colors (even out of the box), nice contrast and blacks for an IPS and it is fast.I have no issue with local dimming in games, there is some bloom visible with e.g. dark scene + HUD but local dimming will never be perfect.On the other hand on desktop I turn it off it is pretty bad.I barely tested VRR but had no issues(HDR + local dimming + 160Hz), I didn't check KVM.For me M1 mac only sees 1080p so it is unusable but I'm sure that's an Apple thing.I'm coming from a 10 years old 4k VA panel monitor, I tested the MSI Optix MAG274QRF-QD for 3 days and returned it, which is as fast as this or faster (by feel) but much worse in everything else (costs half as much tho).

Excellent monitor. Good blacks, good colors, high refresh rate, its got it all. I've finally upgraded my monitor from 1080p, and it's worth every krona. If you spend a lot of time at a computer, you owe it to yourself to invest in a great monitor.

great screen, wierd bugs and scanning trouble for dp with all option enabled, od, hdr and adaptive sync. i have od and adaptive sync off now just cause i want hdr with less bugs.great 4k screen local dimming takes a litlle to get use to but i think windows is more to blame in this regard gets use to halos for any bright lit areas that persist for a second... nothing beats a oled from what'ive heard. this can diffinately come in as a runnerup though. for the price its a killer deal.

Great monitor. Excellent colours and good value. Perfect for if you want lovely blacks without the fear of OLED burn-in. I would say this is as good as it gets for a monitor without crossing the OLED line.Make sure to update the firmware and turn on integer scaling for the best experience in gaming if upscaling from 1080p to maximise FPS

Cooler Master 27inch mini LED 4K

Its good, one of the better monitors that I had over the years :) just one small complaint, I wish they had an option to switch from 4k to 2k in the monitor menu.

Excellent screen, except if you use a Mac!

Great picture, good response time, great colors and contrast, good refresh rate and also power delivery in USB-C... So why 3 stars while it could be the perfect screen? Because it doesn't work with MacBook Pro in USB-C !!I have dual use (gaming and work) so the USB-C connection to the MBP is super important. But the screen doesn't get to sleep: wakes up, sleep again, wakes up etc... Literally lasted several hours! And when it does go to sleep, then it randomly doesn't wake up when I start the MBP. So I end up uplugging and replugging the cable, this is very frustrating and not acceptable for a 10 000 nok screen.I am sadly returning mine.

Outstanding Monitor

I use this monitor principally for productivity use and study (typically office type apps along with python programming as part of studying physics) with a smattering of gaming and media consumption thrown in for good measure. It was purchased on the basis of wanting a monitor that offered a one shot solution which would be equally adept at all use cases. I'd considered various other 4k and 1440p 27 inch displays before settling on this one.The pros:Image quality is outstanding. Reflection handling is brilliant and the monitor works very well in a bright room, even with direct sunlight. It can really go to retina searing levels of brightness. While it's still not at OLED levels it really is quite exceptional for an IPS display with the added benefits of being able to use the monitor for static images without fear of burn in.160Hz is available with any of the connectors be it display port, HDMI or USB-C DP-alt mode. The later being especially beneficial when plugging in my work laptop due to it's power delivery being capable of upto 95W.The cons:Off axis viewing can result in fairly extreme blooming around bright objects when using local dimming, this isn't visible at all when the monitor is viewed 30 degrees or so either side of center so has no effect in normal usage, but it does mean that this isn't suitable as a TV alternative. There are speakers which are truly terrible, pretty sure I've heard better sound out of a mid 90s case speaker!
