Looks great with the red LED lights. CPU temp runs at 29 degrees. Cannot find anything negative so far as I only installed it 2 days go. Cooler is installed in a HTPC not a gaming case. I might add that after reading all the reviews it is not supposed to fit in a In Win 301 case, it does. ,

I only have one complaint about this CPU cooler - on the AM4 motherboards the bracket supplied only allows you to place the cooler with the airflow going upwards, unlike all the other MB's where the brackets supplied allow you to place the cooler sideways so you can have the airflow going out the back vent. You can get a bracket from coolermaster - free of charge (just pay for shipping), that allows you to change direction (still a bit of a pain having to wait for the bracket when they should have been supplied with the cooler in the first place). But overall getting good temp readings from this cooler.

This cooler gets the job done,At Idle Im getting 30c and under load It reaches 70c.Its looks fantastic with the red led's.The only downside is that it is quite bulky, but thats part of the reason why it works so well

-highly recommended! -Cools cpu very fast, after a stress test. -The CPU is 10 degrees C lower than when using the stock fan -Installed on an Intel CPU, no comments on AMD chips. -Install the heat sink without the fan. Plug in all the cable. Reinstall the fan, plug in RAM. Due to the fan/heatsink size, the order of installation is important because space is tight.
This thing is the biggest heatsink I've ever owned. Make sure you have the clearance for it in your tower. As I'm known to say on snapchat, "it's bigger in person." Not sure what the fuss is about a difficult install that other reviewers are mentioning. MAKE SURE THE CLAMP LEVER IS IN THE RELEASED POSITION BEFORE INSTALLING. Then clamp after it's clipped to the Mobo.
Overall a pretty excellent cooler however did notice an error with the AMD section of the instructions with the little arm thing that sits on top the heatsink and clips into the retention bracket. That piece is not necessary and neither is the CPU retention bracket that comes with the motherboard as this thing doesn't fit over the heatsink plate. Hopefully Cooler Master corrects their instructions, not PCCG's fault at all.
I replaced an integrated liquid cooler with this system because I was unhappy with the temperatures of my FX-8350 which periodically tripped on over temperature. This is a quiet system by comparison and I track the temperature with Corsair Link 4 and run the graphing. Note that the Corsair Case is a large tower case and so there is room for this big two fan cooler.
For the record, i fit this into my corsair spec-01 case despite what everything else on the internet told me. all i had to do was shave off a small bit of a metal rib on the top section of the window panel where it was touching. screw those spring screws until they bottom out, took quite a bit of searching to figure this out. This comes with silver thermal paste
I bought this model because it was one of the coolers listed as AM4 compatible from the box on Cooler Master's website. While this is in fact half true, it comes with conditions. First and most annoying: for an AM4 installation, THIS FAN ONLY ALLOWS MOUNTING WITH THE FANS FACING UP AND DOWN! While much of my research indicates this doesn't change much with temperatures, it just doesn't look right. The company logo sits sideways and is clearly not the proper way it should be installed! Also, the AM4 mounting "bracket" is not a bolt on system like the AM3 and Intel sockets but rather a flimsy clip. Had I known this I would of picked another CPU cooler since something this heavy would really benefit from screws and not a clip.
It seems to work Ok but was very hard to install on a Asrock ab350 pro4 motherboard using a Ryzen 1600 cpu. It also only fits so that the fans point to the top of your case. You cannot have the fans pointing to the back of the case as you would usually do . I was lucky with the case I purchased as it has top venting but with a case that does not have that I think it could be a problem. It seems to me that the connecting device was a last minute thing so they could get these coolers to fit the Ryzen. It works but not great. The stock cooler from AMD fits very easily I hope Cooler Master in future has a look at how AMD'S works and came come up with something that is similar to fit and is not so restricted in the way the fans face.I would not recommend this cooler as it ... MoreIt seems to work Ok but was very hard to install on a Asrock ab350 pro4 motherboard using a Ryzen 1600 cpu.
