*Not* Out-of-the-Box compatible with LGA 1700

Cooler Master does offer an adapter kit (item # 603005870-GP) but judging by the numerous Reddit posts of people looking for them they have been backordered from the company for months and out of stock everywhere else I checked. I would return it, but I'd have to pay the cost of shipping which makes it not worth the effort. I purchased this cooler knowing that it does not include the lga1700 mounting bracket. I contacted sales at coolermaster and was told after I purchase the unit to create a service ticket and they will send the mounting bracket for free, which is apparently what they've been doing for all their customers. After I got the cooler, I created the ticket, and waited... and waited.. and I am still waiting now for over a week since the last time I heard anything from Coolermaster. Unfortunately I wasted time and money on this. I ended up buying another product that included the mounting bracket. Lessons learned: Do not trust coolermaster staff because they do not know what they are talking about, and do not rely on their customer service. Let me start with the good. The cooling mechanism works. That’s about it.The bad. The RGB came broken out of the box.I had mine connected via the RGB controller which gets its power directly from the power supply.Certain colors did not work. Also with flickering issues.Of course to trouble shoot I checked everything on my end rigorously and made sure I had everything connected the proper way. Reseated connectors but nothing fixed the issue.A bit disappointed because this is the first time coming across a bad product from Cooler Master. Not going to lie compared to other AIO’s in the same price range the pump feels like it was built with cheap material. If you are looking for a 240 AIO in the 100 dollar price range I would avoid this one.

Great cooler for AM4!
22 October 2021

Purchased this to replace the stock cooler on a Ryzen 5 3600 that just wasn't pulling its weight. The included accessories were very helpful. Lots of cabling and connectors for both the fans and the RGB lighting. Installation was very straightforward. Do note that this makes use of the stock AM4 mounting hardware, so make sure you have it handy. In terms of performance, the cooler is fantastic. My temps dropped from 50C at idle to 28, and from 90C to 60C at load. There is little noise from the pump. It can't be heard over the rest of the system noise, which is minimal in itself. The fans are nearly silent. You really can't beat this cooler for the price, especially if you get lucky like me and pick it up when it's on sale and have a promo code on top. Great performance on ASUS Z690 TUF w/LGA1700!
19 December 2021

As of Dec 2021, this is one of the few AIOs that is LGA1700 ready. Note that the included directions have not yet been updated to directly address the LGA1700 instructions. You need to use the Intel bracket that attaches to the rear of the MOBO via tape. There are 2 types of board standoffs in the kit. Shorter ones with thin/thick attaching shafts and taller ones with thin/thin shafts. You have to use the taller ones. In use, my 16 cores run between 88F to 111F so I'm very pleased. In addition, the MOBO integrated AURA runs an excellent light show with the fan LEDs.

Mine didn't perform very well
25 March 2022

I recently bought a Powerspec desktop with a 12700KF that came with this cooler installed and it did not perform very well. Any CPU test I ran (Intel Burntest, ADA 64, etc.) would quickly get all cores into the mid 90s and most cores would hit a peak of 100C after several minutes. I see similar results in my normal workflows (not stress tests). Exports from my photo editing software got similar temps. My CPU is running at stock speeds. I tried new thermal paste, adjusting fan curves...nothing could get temps down to a reasonable range on this cooler. Finally gave up and installed a quality air cooler (Mugen 5 black) and getting much better results.I'm assuming my unit is defective, as reviews say this cooler should perform much better than I experienced. Mine appears to be working properly. The pump is running and fans spin full RPM, so idk why the temps are so high?My advice: run a stress test and check your temps! Don't assume.

Not a very good AIO
15 February 2021

- I would not recommend this product - I would not purchase this product again The cooler works. It will keep your CPU cool enough, depending on your definition. In my tests it did not cool a Ryzen 3 3200G as well as the processor's included air-cooling heatsink. I double-checked the seating and the thermal paste application, because the poor cooling really shocked me for a dual fan AIO. Not to be too misleading, I COULD get the ML240L to cool as well as the processor's included heatsink, but only by turning the fans to maximum speed. Under these conditions, the CoolerMaster AIO was louder than the air cooler. Again, this really boggled my mind. I had ordered two of these, and I tried the other one on a Ryzen 7 3700X with similarly disappointing results. In the end, I switched back to the air cooled solution for the Ryzen 3 3200G and changed to a Corsair H100i for the Ryzen 7 3700X. Really quite disappointed in this purchase. At this price point, if you can sacrifice the RGB fans, I'd suggest going with a Corsair H60 instead. I've built several computers with that AIO and it works very well.

Ridiculous RGB wiring
5 July 2022

The cooler works great in itself, but the included wiring for the RGB is such a mass of idiocy that I ended up not even using it at all.My tower is a massive C70 Vengeance and still found myself fumbling with finding any space to place the controller and wiring that made sense. If you don't really care about RGB, skip this cooler.I would only recommend this if you had existing CM RGB fans for your case, in which the wiring included in this cooler will easily allow you to daisy chain all your fans.

Saved my PC from a heat death!
26 June 2022

I bought this AIO cooler for my PC because my PC would often reach over 100c and not turn off due to overheat whilst rendering, or it would turn off 3 seconds from completion. This AIO cooler has helped massively. My CPU has gone from working in the upper 80s under load and 117c at peak. (Yes I know its insane but thats what HWMonitor recorded) down to regularly in the low 60s and a peak of 84c whilst rendering. This absolutely saved my PC from a heat death and I cannot praise this enough.I would 100% recommend that anyone who is looking into getting an AIO cooler that they get this one!

This is a strong AIO, Im very impressed.
24 April 2022

Pros: Its super easy to assemble the mount and place the fans on the radiator block. It cools very well I had my 2400G idling around 28C-29C only reaching 38C-42C while gaming (GTA V medium-high 1080P if people would like a reference for graphics intensity) (Subjective) it just looks great to me it just ties the system to together. Cons: As far as cons I have had no issues The pump sounds strong still. No leaks from either the pump, feed loop lines or the radiator block/heat diffuser. As for noise its not very loud it uses 2 ARGB Sickle Flow 120mm silent running fans. Anyway here is a picture the radiator is up top, I mounted different higher flow fans to the radiator. But the sickle flows can be seen mounted to the two mounting positions on the bottom of the case. ... MorePros: Its super easy to assemble the mount and place the fans on the radiator block.
