The Mexican Cerveza is a great product to start with in home brewing. Brewed correctly this can make a replica corona beer. With the Coopers beer kit you can make up to 23 litres out of this one can of malt extract. This is equivalent to 2. 5 slabs of beer or 60 stubbies. Add the 1kg of Coopers brew enhancer 1, 500g of Coopers brewing sugar and 50 grams of Tettnang hops (found at local beer shop or online). So value for money is to be had if your a fan of this smooth mexican drop. Around $25 of product can get you 2. 5 slabs which is a winner any day of the week in my eyes.

Cracked one open a few days ago! Not a bad tasting beer- this is the easiest beer kit I ever brewed. Serve with a wedge of lime ! Sure beats this Texas heat! Will buy again.

This is the 5th or so extract can from Coopers that I have "brewed". On this one, I did no boil, water straight from the well, kviek yeast around 75-80 degrees for 3 or so days, with the last 2+ as pressure carbonated in the keg with a spundling valve. Sort of drinkable in 7 days but better at two weeks. I added a little dextrose too. I decided to experiment with this summer beer and actually used 7.5 gallons of water. The end result was really good for a summer beer. Close to carbonated water with minimal or no hop taste. Great to guzzle with added lemon juice. The wife even "really liked it". Now that it is fall, I will go back to the darker Coopers, but for summer, this one is as good as it can be. And I don't even like mexican beer..

Really very nice product, easy to make and a great result, very much like a Mexican store bought bottled beer.Just as good with or without the lime wedge. I've found with this that it can be drunk straight out of the bottle as there is no sediment that you sometimes get with home brew
