A refreshing and smooth easy drinking ale guaranteed to turn heads. This beer has a unique taste and youthful attitude – the flagship that welcomes the new generation to the Coopers family. Welcome to Australia’s iconic Pale Ale. Coopers Original Pale Ale is brewed using the finest raw materials and traditional Ale brewing techniques, which produce a clean, well balanced and compelling flavour with fruity and floral characters, a crisp bitterness and a noticeable malt character. This beer is a deep golden colour and pours with a generous level of foam. The slight cloudiness which is evident is due to the presence of yeast, which is carried through the fermenting stage to finally produce the natural carbonation. The aroma has a medium to strong pale malt character with hints of floral and grassy notes from the hops and some mild woody and yeast notes. The initial flavour displays a moderate to strong malt character with a balanced hop flavour. The mid palate displays some light maltiness and subdued sweetness and the finish is dry and displays some mild after-bitterness which aids the overall balance of the flavour.

One of the best mainstream Australian beers, subtle fruit taste that goes down well on a summers day. Full 375ml and an independent brewer. Expand my brain, learning juice!

In January-February this year I travelled through Central Queensland visiting friends and relatives. Everywhere I travelled I could buy my favourite beer -- Coopers Pale Ale. On one occasion I was offered a Coopers Gob Hat --- it had every line of ale that Coopers produced. When I arrived back in Adelaide it was almost time for the annual Adelaide Writers Week. I wore this gob hat every day and was asked on many occasions where I got my hat. When I told them that I got it with a slab of Coopers Pale Ale in Queensland they wanted to buy it from me. Apparently they were only distributed in Queensland and Northern Western Australia.

I used to switch brands of Pale Ale until I realised that nothing beats the taste of Coopers Pale Ale. I love it!!
Wonder example of a Pale Ale. My go to Beer. Never disappointed with one of these. Don't forget to roll before drinking.
I have been drinking Coopers for a very long time.I have recently discovered Liquorland and their competitive pricing, been ordering online with a very convenient pick not far away.
I have been drinking Coopers for a few years now and I enjoy the excellent refreshing taste of an ice cold beer.
One of my favourites, full of flavour and a pleasure to drink until the very last drop. Best enjoyed poured into a glass after its "best after" date on the bottle.
Have been drinking nothing but the Coopers Pale Ale for about 10 years now. Other beers don't even come close. It is a matter of individual taste, but the Coopers Pale Ale seems to tick all the boxes. A great beer.
I love this beer, its exactly how a Pale Ale should taste and I especially love that the Coopers family are still making and brewing a range of beers right here in Australia - love that its an Aussie local.
