I purchased this during a promotion sale. It arrived in a timely manner and was well packed. It is very easy to use and works as described. I would suggest looking at some of the many online videos detailing how it works, how to use, how to clean, etc., as they are very informative. I have used it numerous times and am very happy with it so far.

I now have the ability to sample a taste or single glass from the red wine collection I have, instead of waiting for friends to come over to open a bottle, or go to a restaurant that offers wine tasting by the ounce. This has increased my enjoyment of my collection tremendously! The Coravin is so easy to use. Just fit the unit over the bottle, push the needle straight down, which easily penetrates the cork, press the button and pour! Remove by pulling the needle straight up, and then put the bottle back in the rack. You might get a drop coming out of the cork but no more than that. Most of my corks have resealed completely.

I tried going a slightly less costly route by buying argon containers on amazon, spraying aggressively while pouring (more than the recommended amount on the can), and storing the wine in a fridge. With this approach, it still didn't make the next pours as though the bottle hadn't been opened. It helped, but it didn't work. It was also annoying to either drink chilled wine or wait for it to warm up for an hour if I wanted it to be room temp (I prefer most wines, often even whites, to not be chilled).My wife and I are so pleased we made this purchased. I like bourbon/hard alcohols and beer, and will continue to drink these from time-to-time. But I often really prefer a glass of wine. I can finally have that without any additional guilt beyond drinking an $XX glass on a Tuesday. Go ahead and try this out if you are thinking about buying one.

Works better than original Coravin I bought a few years ago. The capsules leak on original, lose gas and therefore less uses, which is disappointing consider how much it cost then. Coravin replaced cartridge canister but still was not long term fix. So far the Sl has smoother flow and more taps per cartridge.
The product is as advertised. Two things I dislike abut Coravin marketing:Coravin absolutley overwhelms my browser with pop-up advertisements. It seems that every page I am on has a commercial for Coravin. I am a loyal customer and order Coravin supplies on the Coravin site. I dislike the barrage of advertisements.Second, I fine the ads distasteful.Last the date of purchase presented above was for the original purchase, not the latest supply order.
So far we have lost the pressure from 2 cartridges Not sure why they are leaking out after only using a couple times. Thought the first was a fluke so made sure it was tightly sealed next time. Still leaks out. Don't feel like killing a whole cartridge each time I open a bottle.
