I bought these hoping they would match the plate set that I own (same name). The set comes with bowls, but they are not as big and don't have the same design. These bowls match perfectly and are the perfect size. They are big enough for cereal or soup but not so big that they look ridiculous. The pattern on them is very nice and they stack well! They also do well in the dishwasher.

RE: Country Cottage 28-oz. soup bowls: These are a Christmas gift purchased for a family member. Originally purchased two sets of matching dishes as a gift and now these 8, 28-oz. soup bowls. Did open up the box to check them, whoever did the packaging did a superb job. Thank you, Walmart!

I originally bought a complete set of Country Cottage dishes years ago to use in our motorhome. I love them. Once we got off the road, I started using them in my home. They last for years and I just recently broke one of the bowls. I was elated when I saw that I could get it replaced. In fact, I bought more to equal out my set. Great buy.

I ordered a bunch of these and they were packed in the most careful manner I have ever seen. No scope for a shipping damage; and it doesn't hurt that Corelle products are very hard to damage in the first place.Overall, very satisfied with the bowls (as always with most Corelle products) and extremely pleased with the shipping.
I really like how deep this bowl is! Oatmeal doesn’t overflow when I micro it, pie and ice cream…no problem! Starving and want a big bowl of cereal? This is your bowl!But really it is a great bowl.
We use th 28oz bowl for many foods. I love white however, my fruit harvest set from 25 yrs ago is a frost (off white) color which is no longer manufactured. We’ve shattered 3 of the original 28oz so replaced them w 3 white. They feel nearly identical. Maybe a fraction lighter or thinner but appear to b well made. Time w tell if they hold up to th adult set we have (cuz theyre 25 yrs old) haha. By th way, these r th only 3 pieces that hv broken out of a faily extensive set I had collected. I definately would buy them again.We love our Corelles
The bowls are very pretty. The design is all green (which I like). but they do not match the rest of the Country Cottage pieces, which have blue in the design. I would like to have plates to match these green bowls, but I guess they don't exist. Why would Corelle make Country Cottage bowls and plates that don't match?
These 28 ounce bottles are great for so many things. Soup, scrambling eggs., salads, vegetables, chips, snacks. I use them so much I had to buy more, so I would always have one ready to use. Also, being a Corel product, they last for years and they’re almost at breakable. Great to use in the microwave.!
Price was incredibly reasonable! Walmart is always my favorite place to shop. Great service! Arrived a day early!The design of bowls were so pretty and light! Matching well with my other Correlle dishes. Perfect size for noodle soups, chili beans, cereals.... we love it!
Due to my older age, I donated all my heavy stoneware dishes and switched to the lighter weight Corelle. I like these 28oz bowls because they are deeper than the standard ones, reducing the chances of spills, etc. I also like the design that matches my plates. Like others stated, I wish the design was printed in green/blue color like the plates instead of only green, but that is a minor detail. I expect these bowls to last a lifetime.
