These little bowls are perfect for little hands and smaller portions. I only purchase two because, at almost $12 a piece, they are too expensive. If you could purchase six bowls for around that price, I would buy more.I did buy the 10" plates, six for $23.00. A much better deal.

I bought a few of these as open stock for cat dishes in plain white and quickly became impressed with the easy care and durability of these dishes. I now have several. They fit easily into the dishwasher, have a nice shape, and are just a pleasingly simple and well made dish. We've also used them for serving dessert and I've even used them in the microwave for cooking eggs and so forth. It was almost two years before I even saw a tiny chip on the edge of one of these appeared. Overall they look brand new and shiny. We have an old vintage set of English Ivy dishes that I'm ready to replace with a Livingware line. The design selection is kind of limited as I think they regard this series as practical use only but I see no reason why prettier designs couldn't be ... Winter Frost is the name of my set of dishes that I have had for many years. I used to be able to get plates and matching stuff at Walmart when something broke but it is harder to find now. You need to keep making the full set and offer replacement stuff that gets broken. Your plates do not like my tile kitchen floor.
I purchased 6 of the bowls recently as a gift for my sister who has me over once aweek for dinner with her husband and 2 adult sons. She loves them and uses them often. I bought them to use as vegetable bowls but she also uses them for dessert bowls (fresh fruit cut into small cubes, hot fudge sundaes, etc.). They are a beautiful white and will go with any color dinnerware. They look more costly than they are. Love the cost especially since I got a nice discount and was not able to find these in any stores locally. I and my sister could not be any happier with this purchase!
The bowl is great, Walmart is the problem. For months now this product listing alternates between three states: a single bowl at a $2 price, a single bowl at a $12 price, a set of six bowls at a $12 price. It’s hit or miss what you get and what you get charged for. I’ve reported the price/quantity issue twice now since Nov 2020 but I guess that system is useless. So just beware that when you buy this online you might be rolling the dice.
In the US we have become used to having such large servings and portions. While living in Japan we got a shocking reminder of how much food we are used having in front of us at meals. We learned to eat less (happily) on smaller dishes. This bowl is a great reminder of that. Also, smaller (younger) people who sit at the grown up table will find this to be a nice size...appropriate child size in the US (haha).Just wish Corelle brands were a bit easier on the wallet--especially the plain white items. I just remind myself that I get what I pay for...and don't drop it on the tile counters!
We don't like to put plastic in the dishwasher, so we bought these bowls for our kids. They're a good size for toddlers, and they stack compactly to consume very little space in our cupboards. They're a little low and flat compared to what I was expecting, but they work fine anyway. We use them for snacks, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, soups, and much more!
First off the bowl is great. The price for these bowls is not. In all fairness, Canadian Tire had the most reasonable price for this small bowl. It was priced less at Canadian Tire than what other retailers were asking for it. I was just astonished that I could buy large soup bowls for half the price of what this little bowl was going for. It has to be that Corelle is charging the retailers a lot of money for their inventory.
One of the most durable products ever invented. I purchased this size bowl for dual purposes, not only condiment and dip, but individual cat feeding bowls as well. They outlast all other glassware, pottery, etc. by years..
