You can't go wrong with Corelle. I have used Corelle since the 1970's as well as other members of my family. In fact, my mother had the first pattern set that was made. These dishes will probably last the rest of my life. You definitely get your money's worth. I would only buy another complete set if I just fell in love with the design. They keep their color, durability and very rarely chip and it would take a hard hit for it to chip. Corelle dishes are my absolute favorite!

I bought my original set when I got married over 30-40 years ago. I have added to it as my family has grown.They last for ever and are always beautiful. I have the all white set and can use them for any holiday or party event. FYI I have a beautiful set of China, but they have to be hand washed etc. It’s just easier to use the Corelle. My whole family has a set of Corelle that they to have added to over the years!!

Corelle is great.

Replacing a Corelle bowl that I accidentally broke. We have been using Corelle for decades, and it is a great product. . It is very sturdy. The bowl i dropped broke, but I feel it was just a fluke the way it landed.on our dishwasher. We have dropped Corelle many times with no breakage or damage. We will continue using Corelle products.

I love this bowl!

I love this bowl! I like to fill my bowl my bowl to the top as I prepare a budha bowl. But, when I stir it it spills outside of the bow. So I've been using a plastic bowl that I've been buying for a dollar, it keep cracking so I keep replacingi it with dollar bowls. No I have a perminant bowl that I will not have to replace. I fill it have way or 3/4 and have plenty of room to stir it continually so that all of the sauces mix well in it as I eat from the bowl. It is light weight and it will not break. I am as happy as I can be with it; no more going back to the store for a light weight dollar plastic bowel to replace the one before it. Yay!

Love these bowls

I already had two of these for serving. I use them a lot. Over time I found they are also a great size for a personal bowl of ramen and pho (as well as many other foods). So I ordered two more.They arrived really quickly with other dishes from this collection I ordered. They were all wrapped carefully and thoughtfully stacked.

Reliable, durable, reach for choice

Let’s just say there is a reason why Corelle dishes have been on the market for many years. They’re the most functional dishes one could own for durability alone. Light and easy to clean, even with a far more expensive set these are the ones we keep reaching for. Hard to write a review, when they simply speak for themselves.

Although originally designed as the table's serving bowl, with each diner eating from a much smaller bowl, this 1-quart size is the size each person really needs. My kitchen's large, but if I again lived in a tiny RV, or had only a motel mini-kitchenette, for instance, I'd want only Corelle because it's lightweight, stacks compactly, can be safely stored on lightweight shelves, and is easy to clean. I once got a rust stain on it, but it came off after a few washings. Also, being all white is best with food in it, because the food itself is the focus and color "pop," not some multi-colored design. I got my first 1-qt. bowl 2 years ago, my first Corelle 6 years ago, my first desire for it 45 years ago, and none of my Corelle has ever broken, although I'm a little rough with my dish washing and I drop things a lot. I shop for old, quality USA-made kitchen items in 2nd hand stores and have never seen any Corelle there because no one ever gets rid of it. It's a lifetime product.

Very useful.

It's smooth and thus easy to wash and clean. I can use it to heat soup or leftovers for myself in the microwave, using a Corelle salad plate on top. Sometimes I use it for cereal if I want to eat a lot. of it. It's also good for a large salad. It's tricky to place in the dishwasher -- there are only 2 spots it will stay upright, so I normally handwash it. Otherwise, it can take a lot of room. It's the same size as a set of 4 I bought in the past for just $20, so it stores easily inside of them. I wish that Walmart would sell sets of 4 if they are available.

The one star is for Walmart. The Corelle bowls that survived the trip are 5 stars.Ordered 6 bowls. They were all just packed in a plastic bag. In a box 3 or 4 times bigger than it needed to be. No bubble wrap. Nothing between the bowls.Needless to say some bowls were broken; but surprisingly not all of them.3 were fine.

so disappointed

so disappointed. have had Corelle dishware for my entire life. Today one of my favorite serving bowls slid off the countertop and dropped to my vinyl kitchen floor, totally disintegrated into hundreds of shards. so at this point i dont know what they mean by saying it is chip and break resistant if it cant handle dropping empty from a kitchen countertop to a vinyl covered floor.
