After purchasing these bowls for my household I purchased some for my sister. When I visited her, she and her family used them for just about everything! She loves them. So I decided to send my nephews the same bowls. They just received them and called to tell me that they love these bowls and will probably use them more than their plates! They're large enough for gigantic bowls of soup, stews, salads with all the fixings, full meals, popcorn, huge ice cream sundaes, bowls of ramen with all the fixings, you name it! In fact, we use them more than we use dinner plates. These are the best! Love, love, love these bowls. Will send more to more family members!

We bought a Corelle dish set and the bowls were smaller than the ones our old dish set had, so we bought a few of these. I’m so impressed with how they handle large salads, ramen, pasta, etc. It’s much easier to eat those meals from bowls instead of plates. Having these is like being at Noodles and Co.! Loved them so much we bought a few more, as I’m sure we’ll use them for entertaining guests.

I have a Corelle dinnerware that I have used for 40 years. They look the same as they did the day that I bought them. I added this meal bowl to the rest of my Corelle. They are perfect for one-dish meals. This bowl is great for salads, soup, pasta, etc.... They are deep enough that you don't have to worry about spilling anything. Great product.

I previously purchased the 30 oz. meal bowls and absolutely loved them so I thought this 46 oz. Meal Bowl would be exactly the same as the 30oz. just larger. What a disappointment, they are not like the 30 oz. bowl at all. These are not much different than the large vegetable bowl that is part of my regular Corelle dinnerware. Since the description said Meal Bowl I thought is would have the same wide flat bottom and lower sides but it does not. If you already have the vegetable bowls do not bother with these.....and I purchased 3!

We bought these bowls as a possible replacement for similarly designed bowls we had been using from another mfg. which had chipped early on and are much heavier than our existing Corelle. These bowls are perfect for the large individual portion salads and other meals that our family enjoys. After a couple of months of use, we are now ready to buy another set of four. After 50+ years of use, we still eat from the same Corelle at my parent's house that I did as a child. So far, it looks like our new Corelle is going to stand ... Bought this to do a project. I purchased based on others review that this was good for large salads. Everyone has their idea of what large means...I was truly disappointed at the size. It is shallow (so not as deep as a cereal bowl) and seems it would only hold the volume of about. I knew it would not be very deep but I was hoping the width would make up for that but it was not to be. To add to the disappointment, I now have a bowl that is a $15 paper weight since it doesn't make sense to return it. I would need to pay the $8 shipping and they also subtract the original shipping which means I would go through a lot of work to get $2 back. Hopefully if you buy this item you love it as much as the other people who raved how awesome it was.
Corelle dishes really are the perfect dishes! Aside from being break resistant (not break proof because my 4.5yo dropped her bowl on the concrete when we were eating outside and it broken, but didn’t shatter into small piece so that was good!), these dishes are lightweight which is awesome! They clean off so easily and nothing leaves a mark on them. They really are superior dishes!!! Both my sisters, myself and we recently purchased all new dishes for our parents all use and love these!!
These bowls are awesome! They are large enough to use as large salad bowls. But we have been using them for everything. They actually seem more practical than a plate for spaghetti. I wanted them because the bowls i had were not wide enough to use for Bibimbap. So i ordered 8 of these so I'd we have company well have enough of these. Got them on sale too!
I wasn't sure about what to use these for when ordered. Now I use them for many things from serving a meal, use as a shallow mixing bowl, or collecting trimmings when preparing food.They are very handy and clean up so easily.Many imported items are out of round, not perfectly symmetrical. These are perfect.Buy 4 and you will order another 4. Everybody loves them and they make a great gift.
This “meal bowl” is not that much bigger than a standard Winter Frost “bowl.” It looks, feels and acts differently however. I bought a bunch. Who knows how long they will make them? The look and extra volume really works. Singular items like chili present beautifully. Multi-items also work well. Bottom line: I don’t know what makes these simple meal bowls so attractive in real life and in front of you.
