Grew up with Corelle, and now I am in my mid-60s.Reading much about chemicals used in dinnerware, the Winter Frost White was rated as safe. I purchased a variety of sizes, which I found on the main web site. My dinnerware arrived, and is perfect. Didn't think that at my age, I would be buying new dinnerware, but that is the case! Likes: Pure, clean, nice size (not super size!), lightweight, easy to stack, variety of types to choose, set doesn't include an unappealing mug. Unlikes: None, honestly.

I have used Corelle dinnerware since 1976. It always looks nice and doesn’t chip asIronstone dishes chip. I continue adding to my beginning set white with gold flowers around the rim of the dishes. I started purchasing the white plain Corelle dishes to increase my place settings and change off my table. I even use Corelle dinnerware in our camper because I don’t like Malimine dinnerware.

When I was preparing my birthday wish list, I found these pasta bowls and fell in love with them. The sale price was incredible, so much husband and I went ahead and bought them. We couldn't pass up that deal! I have had Corelle dishes for 12 years, so I knew to expect quality and durability. I am very happy with the generous size of the dishes. We have used them for soup, salad, and pasta, and we love them. The only drawback is they get incredibly hot when they are heated in the microwave. I have begun using pot holders to remove the dishes from the microwave to avoid getting burned. No big deal, but it may bother some people.

It's a good size bowl which is not too deep. I use them for pasta, soup, stew etc. for the family. I wish those come with patterns instead of plain white.By the way, at the time of writing this review, the description clearly says pack of 6 in the title and product description, but it was only one bowl when I ordered for the store pick-up. After chatting with Walmart.com customer rep, I was referred to the local store manager. After talking with the local store manager, we concluded that description is wrong, and I was asked to contact Walmart.com, which I did already (reported the wrong product description), but it does not look like the description has been corrected.
I only purchased two bowls to see how I liked them. They are perfect and go with my set. My original set has much smaller bowls. Not big enough for pasta dishes or salad for me. They were a bit bigger then I thought but work well for me. Light weight and wash beautifully.
I had bought 10 of these bowl shaped plates for things like spaghetti, stroganoff etc. Now have mandarins sitting in one. I was observing my sister feeding things to her grandchildren and bought 10 for her; she loves them! But whats not to love. You're limited only by your imagination in an item you can dress up or down, for adults down to babies. Because these are pure white, they fit any pattern
I was searching for these bowl/plates. Perfect for pasta, chili and stews. I searched stores and couldn't find what I was looking for. I only needed 2 and found then through the Corelle website. I bought several of these bowls several years ago when there was still a Corelle outlet in Pigeon Forge, TN. Those were just like these that I recently purchased, except for an etching design of a tree on them, which I actually prefer to the plain white ones, but these serve the purpose as well. The size and gradual rise of the edge is perfect for our disabled daughter, who is hemi-paretic/has cerebral palsy, to feed herself. A deeper bowl with sides that are more upright would make that harder for her. The size is usually an appropriate portion for her. My husband likes to use these bowls to cover a plate in the microwave. They are easy to fit in the dishwasher upright, in the bottom rack, like a plate, taking up less space than deeper bowls with higher sides that ... I'm not sure there is a more perfect thing to eat from in the world. Not only does this bowl go with everything, and is sturdy and unbreakable, but you can use it for just about any meal you can think up. It's way better at containing stir-fries and pastas, and does an equally good job at holding a sandwich or a soup. Its slightly smaller footprint also makes me feel less likely to overload my plate.
This bowl is wonderful for fixing omelets in the microwave. It's just the right size. I use Egg Beaters Southwestern Style and combine onions, potatoes %26 sausage. I comes out perfect every time.
