The photos of the Portofino plates looked so beautiful online, but in person the plates were very disappointing. I realize Correlle was going for a hand painted look, but the design was poorly executed; the design was not properly centered on the plate, giving it a lopsided look. I returned my order & opted for a different design.

We have always used Corelle for our every day dishes because of their durability and because they stack so nicely in the cabinets. We just replaced our 30-year-old Corelle set and I couldn't be happier. I love this pattern. The blues are just beautiful. These dishes make me feel like I'm eating in a French country cottage.

Extremely attractive product. we have decided to purchase an entire suite of portofino pieces based on the one that we ordered and we are excited to use them. Growing up, Corelle was a staple in our homes but we shied away from buying it after we had our own home because it was not very attractive. Now Corelle has solved this by making a new appealing line of products!

I’ve been married 10 years, we never purchased new plates. We used what we both came with. We decided to upgrade our heavy, ugly plates to a beautiful set of lightweight Corelle. I am so grateful we finally did! Hoping to find the matching saucers for our next purchase!
We have a set of Corelle bowls that we have used for over 20 years now and they are still in excellent shape. So when it was timehere to go. So when it was time to buy new plates I knew right where to go. I am so happy with this beautiful design. And so far their durability has proven to be just as good as Corningware’s other products. My only constructive criticism is that their customer service was lacking.
The plates are lighter than the old dish ware. I use them almost everyday. They are beautiful. I have read some reviews that people think they’re not real Corelle because of the differences in thickness & texture of the older dish ware. But they are the new and improved version. Love it.
It’s pretty design but I am taking off one star bcz it is NOT as smooth for which Corelle is known for.Also I find that corelle dishes become bit heavier than before and this is disappointing for me as I am a big fan of them.Although, they have introduced so many collections than ever before but the quality becomes heavier and thicker, may be due to use of recycled glass.But I am fan of older versions.
I first purchased this product last year and ordered more! They are the perfect size for the kids to use for snacks and breakfast. With 5 kids (who do the dishes regularly) NOT 1 has yet to break. Positive in every way. (They don’t smell so that is weird thing to rate)
The print on the plates are so light, they look like used. And plate doesn’t have the shine and proper design work on it. I bought them to gift some one, but after seeing the plate I am so much disappointed .I pay $110 for 12 plate, and same plates amazon is selling for $ 60.
These plates were exactly what I was looking for. Colors are perfect for my house. I love Corelle Ware because they are light weight for my weak hands, thin for easy storage, and tough, for my granddaughter who is still at that drop and dump everything stage :) The pattern seems a bit uneven but does not stop me from loving them
