I LOVE these dishes and use them ALL THE TIME for any “meal” as a plate. They have a really nice raised edge like a pasta bowl that keeps all your deliciousness from spilling out, whether it’s a sandwich and chips, a big stir fry over rice, a pasta meal or a meal-size salad. I hardly ever use a big, flat plate anymore unless I really have to get in there to cut up something. I don’t really use them as a bowl for soup, but you could. I just use them for everything else.

We’ve been using these for many years and love them! They are hard to find now, they used to be called “pie plates” which I think is a better suited name as I really cannot see drinking soup out of these. They are medium sized plates with a lip and are so versatile. I’m so happy to have found them here on wayfair and they are exactly like the other corelle pie plates that we own, with the exception of a different design stamp on the plate which hardly matters (new stamp is prettier imo). Highly recommend!

Love my Corelle!

Many years ago, I purchased Corelle for my home. Forty five years later, it is still in use. I loved the four soup/stew bowls I had acquired. However, I hadn't been able to find more in my area. It finally dawned on me that I could 'google' it and voilà! The shape of these bowls, large with an indentation for soup or any other one-pot meal, works well. They are visually attractive on a placemat, large but not requiring a huge amount of food in the recessed center. The service/delivery surprised me in that the shipment came more quickly than expected and the packaging was snug and secure. Now that I know how to order pieces, I'll probably be back for more!Thank you. We love Corelle!!!

Love the size

These are perfect for soup! The reviewers that say the rim is too small must have giant hands! I put hot hot soup in these all the time and carry them very well by the rim without any heat on my hands. The soup plate shape lets the soup cool quickly vs a deeper bowl that keeps it hot longer. I eat 2 bowls of soup with this size. We also use them for pasta - and salad looks a bit prettier in these too!

Who needs bowls AND plates when you can have THESE? We literally use these Corelle bowls for EVERYTHING - soups, casseroles, hamburgers! - whatever we're eating. PLUS they load into the dishwasher like a plate. What more could you ask for? L❤️VE THESE!

Plowls? Bates?

A cross between a plate and a bowl. I love these for thick stews, curries, pasta, rice dishes, etc. Just enough of a side to keep the food on your plate as you chase it with a spoon or fork. Great for reheating in microwave as edges stay cool and are easy to grip. For cereal or watery soups I prefer something deeper, but these have replaced our medium size plates. Easy to fit in dishwasher unlike some higher sided bowls. Stacks compactly on the shelf. Really great price!

Rim is a little too narrow

The picture is a little misleading as the rim seems to be wider (like maybe 2in). But in actual fact it's closer to 1in. It's still wide enough to get a decent grip on it especially when filled with hot soup. Consider offering another pbowl with a wider rim and a slightly bigger bowl (maybe 18-20oz).

I crunch up some dry cereal, like oats and almonds I dip the bread in the egg batter in the first bowl and then coat the bread with the crunched up cereal and fry in butter. Then you have Crunchy French Toast.I have had Corelle Ware in my cupboard since about 1976. My first set was white with a green flower edge. Gave those to my sister as she has the same set and then purchased, the white with blue trim in 2002. I gave that set to a friend as I had purchased the all white dishes (That way I could use any color of table cloth and all would match). In all the years there has been only broken plate. VERY Shallow

I was excited to see these pasta/soup bowls at Walmart as they do match my current set. I was also happy to see they had a lip. Unfortunately they are extremely shallow - Maybe about 3/4" deep? (They look MUCH deeper in the description photos.) They were returned.

Winter White bowls—-Awesome, durable product!

These Winter white bowls are a gift for my daughter. I have had the same style myself for 30 years and have never broken even one. These are legit—-I highly recommend!!
