Beware of those highly sensitive keys!

Aside from that and the occasional flickering of some of the LED's (on my end at least), this keyboard feels great and looks durable. The only question now is if I can actually get used to those overly-sensitive keys.

Bit sad really

It's a great gaming board that I would recommend otherwise, just a heads up if you don't have easy access to a CEX and a friendly reminder that cex needs to train their testers better.

Built like a fighter jet, performs like one, too. Incredibly durable, and long lasting.

When you find a keyboard that lasts for a decade and you don't even realize it, you come to understand why these original k65's are so hard to find. I buy extra of these just to have on hand for the time when this one eventually dies. Will it?! Literally the last keyboard I ever need or want.

Corsair K65 RBG - compact version of its larger sibilings
5 June 2016

It's hard to find a decent 10-keyless. Only because I liked the Corsairs K95 and K70's was I comfortable ordering this. Other than being a smaller footprint, my typing fingers can't tell my K70 is in the closet. I am not sure if I will miss the 10-key for some games but not yet. And I can bring my mouse in closer and my hands don't have to shift leftward to type. All in all, this was a very nice purchase. If one is not sure is a RGB 10-keyless will simplify your desktop and still allow a mechanical gaming keyboard with Cherry switches, you can find out for under $100. Have fun.

Good value, good build quality, feels nice

For the price I got it for ($75 CAD shipped) it was really good. The only problem is that the lights flicker if you use any of the pulse/gradient/wave modes. I don't really care too much about the effects, I just set it to a static colour and left it. If you care about the wave and all the other effects then go for the LUX, RAPIDFIRE or STRAFE, because apparently it's fixed on those keyboards. Other than that it's really good value and well built. If you buy it at full price it's not worth it though.

Great keyboard, minor issues with the keycaps (1+ years on)
25 November 2021

This is a great keyboard that I have had for more than a year now. The noise of the keyboard when typing on a wooden surface is loud. However I subsequently purchased an oversized mouse mat (800mm wide) that my mouse and keyboard fit onto. That has removed most of the noise, even though the keys themselves are still clicky (the way you want it :)). The keycap on the left ctrl key (bottom left corner) broke. The plastic holding the keycap onto the stalk broke. After doing some internet searching, I discovered the Corsair support page where I sent in photos of the broken keycap and serial & part numbers of the keyboard. I wasn't expecting a quick response. To my surprise, I received a email response within a day. The keycap will be replaced free of charge and they ... MoreThis is a great keyboard that I have had for more than a year now. Delivery is estimated to take a couple of weeks, however I am very happy that they are just replacing the keycap without fuss, providing great support! Highly recommend this keyboard.

Although the Cherry MX RED switched are a dream to type with - It really can be an absolute pain when the key caps simply come off with the release of pressure form your finger tips. If you have another choice of a TKL, RBG, MX RED keyboards, go with it. because this will make you want to go back in time and punch your self in the face for even considering buying this garbage. PCCG did do a great job of getting this to me though, very much so on time.

This keyboard was great for the first few months like 2/3 months. but i just can't stand the keycaps any longer. the keycaps come off the keyboard so SO easily its not even funny and if you aren't pin point on the keycap your finger can slip under the keycaps and pull it out. I hope someone sees this and thinks again about buying it. Would not recommend :)

Pros: The keyboard is well made, looks good and has a feel of quality about it above its asking priceCons: My only quibble, and the reason I had to return the item is that I use a KVM to control several computers with a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. This keyboard, and possibly all TKL version keyboards wouldnt work with it as it uses the scroll lock to change computers, and for some reason tapping the scroll lock didnt work unless I held down the FN key at the same time which is too awkward for fast switchingSo if you dont use a KVM which lets face it is probably 99% of people this keyboard is excellent, if you do then it really comes down to whether you want to mess about with unnecessary key combinations and if not then a full sized 104 key (ish) version ... MorePros: The keyboard is well made, looks good and has a feel of quality about it above its asking priceCons: My only quibble, and the reason I had to return the item is that I use a KVM to control several computers with a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. I already had a Corsair RGB K65 Rapidfire a year ago. I liked it so much I decided to get this refurbished K65 LUX for my work PC. It feels just as good as the K65 Rapidfire and looks just as good as well. The LUX has cherry red switches instead of the cherry speed switches in the Rapidfire but I still find the LUX very light and sensitive. If you're looking for light touch and rapid response key strokes, Corsair makes some good keyboards in both the LUX and Rapidfire line. At the price I paid for it - no regrets. I love this thing.
