Purchased for my home gym. After much brooding between this and uncoated steel barbell, I decided to go for the black oxide. It was the right decision! Not only does it look great and blends with the weight rack and other equipment that are all black but it is of superb quality. Feels and operates the same as some of the equipment stocked at major fitness clubs.I ordered this along with a bunch of other fitness equipment. The guys at the Wetherill park collection centre were very helpful and courteous. We atleast 25+ boxes and nearly 300 kgs of equipment. The guys carefully loaded all the equipment neatly into the boot which was unexpected and pleasantly surprising. This is the level of customer service that sets the best from the average.
