I have been tentatively incorporating this into my routine. I have noticed some flaking skin in areas that I have overused it in, so I only used it once a week for a while, and then cautiously went up to twice a week. I'm going to start trying 3 times a week I think but it is pretty strong so that may be too much but we'll see. Definitely not an every day product but it is not intended to be. It *is* very effective, I just also am a little impatient. I have been noticing a significant decrease in blackheads over time. Some of my more stubbornly established ones are taking more time to respond, but that's to be expected. I do sometimes notice some minor purging in the day or two following its use, but that's also to be expected I think.

Essential Product for My Acne/Blackhead Prone Skin

Without a doubt, this product has significantly minimized acne and blackheads. I use it every other night after I double cleanse; I let it dry for about a minute, then follow up with a toner. Although I have sensitive skin, this product doesn't aggravate it. I used to have blackheads all over my nose, and now I don't have a single one (honestly, that's how effective this has been for me). With consistent use, you will see results. Also, my pores (especially the ones on my upper cheeks) look a lot smaller, however, I do use the Two in One Poreless Power Liquid on the nights that I don't use the BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, so it could be a result of consistently using both products.

I'm 66 and have had blackheads for over 50 years. I have used some stronger exfoliants like The Ordinary's Salycilic and Glycolic acid but they would dry me out ( I have dry skin), this one doesn't though. I use it in combination with the Kose Speedy cleansing oil, and it seems to take care of my pores, they are clean and non-congested. I use it only 2-3 times a week, depending on how I feel, so I don't think it's been long enough to see major results, but it definitely isn't hurting anything. I would say it's probably great for people who need something more gentle that still does the job and doesn't dry them out. I'll come back to update. I have used this every other day for 2 weeks in the morning and I'm actually speechless at how the pores on my cheeks look. My pores are large and leave alot of space for my skin tint or foundation to settle in and this little magic bottle has noticeably reduced their size. I have quite a reactive skin and can't seem to tolerate western chemical exfoliants. I heard that this was way gentler and decided to give it a try.I have normal skin and am prone to acne.
