I am writing you guys a review of this Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule from @cosrx, which I was kindly sent by @glamtouchuk to try! . Key ingredients: 🌱 Centella Asiatica Extract (over 40%!) 🌱 Madecassoside 🌱 Allantoin 🌱 Panthenol . Also part of the Hydrium Line, this ampoule is perfect for oily / combination skin types that are looking for lightweight relief. . I have been using this primarily in my morning routine when my skin can’t handle a thicker cica balm. This lightweight ampoule spreads like soothing water across my skin, but yet it still manages to deliver a hydrating punch. . I like to alternate my Vitamin C and exfoliating toners into morning and evening routines. Depending on what I have used in the morning, I really do need something like this ... MoreI am writing you guys a review of this Centella Aqua Soothing Ampoule from @cosrx, which I was kindly sent by @glamtouchuk to try! . I love that it absorbs so nicely and when I pair this with the Green Tea Soothing Gel Cream, it’s just the right level of hydration that won’t leave me looking like a greasy mess. . So I honestly would recommend both the products in this line. The ampoule and the gel cream are both fantastic products and both well-suited for oily and combination skin types! Thank you, @glamtouchuk for giving me the opportunity of trying both of these products.

First and foremost, let me start with my skin type; I have rosacea and my skin is very sensitive, acne prone, dry and dehydrated. I bought this in hopes that it would soothe my skin (soothing is literally in the name of the product) and calm down the irritation and inflamation; centella asiatica and panthenol (vitamin B5) are both supposed to have anti-inflammatory properties. I've been using this for a couple of weeks now and I really don't see it doing anything for my skin at all. It's not less red, less inflamed, and it hasn't soothed my irritation at all. I'm giving it 2 stars instead of one because I suppose it is SLIGHTLY hydrating-- not by much, however. Also, I don't like that the packaging is opaque. If you end up liking this product and wanting to repurchase, you would have no way of knowing when you're running low on product. If they did this because the product destabilizes or degrades in light, they still could have used an amber packaging like other brands do. For me, I can't justify the $21-24 price tag (depending on where you buy) for a product that does nothing more than slightly hydrate the skin.

I have combo oily skin but when winter hits my skin gets super dry. As a result I have to switch up my skincare routine I add this every year around fall/winter. I don’t experience any irritation or breakouts. My skin feels soft and moisturized it helps with breakouts. It feels thick but not when you apply to the skin. It’s doesn’t have a scent either. I definitely recommend.

The only serum so far that has been gentle enough that it dosent brake me out or couse an allergic reaction.I also have some hormonal acne and this feels light enough to use even in those areas of the face. I would say this is calming and mildly/ gently moisturizing. Just ordered the other cosrx moisturizing serum to try for my dehydrated forhead.
The formulation is light, absorbs quickly, and works well when layering with other serums. It lasted me several months even when using it everyday, and it made my skin look healthier and more hydrated. I've had fewer breakouts since starting to use this regularly. Repurchasing, definitely one of my essential products now!
This ampoule felt hydrating but was not hydrating enough for me. This product did not work well for me. It made my skin irrirated and red I had to discontinue use. I must be allergic to something in this product I suspect it might be the madecassoside but I am not sure. I do not recommend to use if you have sensitive skin like me. I did not see benefit from using this.
Simple, calming, hydrating, and feels nice. This is perfect if you need an extra boost of hydration under your sunscreen. Also great if you feel like sunscreen irritates your skin slightly as this is soothing and protective.Apply to damp skin though! You won’t get the full benefits if applied to dry skin. I also love pairing this with a gel moisturiser on top, the two complement each other perfectly. If you live in a humid climate and have combo, sensitive skin this is perfect for you!
I’ve been using this product (along with the snail mucin) for about a week now and have noticed a huge difference in my skin’s coloration! The redness in my face has gone down so much. I’ve had pretty bad acne since I was 13 and it’s so nice to finally feel confident about how clear my skin is.The ingredients are super clean in all of their products which has also really helped my skin :)The formula leaves my face slightly tacky but with the snail mucin and my regular moisturizer on top my skin feels super smooth and hydrated.
This ampoule is a good hydrator. It has a water-like consistency and absorbs quickly. In addition to the Centella, it contains Chondrus crispus extract, which is an extract derived from red algae. It’s been shown to be an excellent humectant. If you’re looking to boost up your moisturizer, I think this could be a good choice. Nonetheless, this product did not drastically change my skin. Don’t expect anything other than hydration from this.
