What dreams are made of. Sustainably-minded, super cozy, and bright as can be, the Teca Fleece is the cold-weather cousin of our Teca Windbreaker. This iteration takes our original full-length zipper out of the equation and replaces it with a classic snap opening. Great as a stand-alone jacket or midlayer, each Teca Fleece is made from best-in-class, recycled fleece and DWR-treated, polyester taffeta left over from other companies’ production runs. This keeps perfectly good materials out of the landfill, instead putting them in the hands of thoughtful adventurers like you. Love a colorway? Better act fast: Teca is made using repurposed materials, which means that each colorway is also limited edition.

This fleece is basically perfect. Very warm (to the point of making me too hot to wear it in 45°F weather once i started hiking), the pops of color on the black look great, the elastic on the wrist is a lot more comfortable than other fleeces I’ve had, and it seems durable in my climbing adventures so far. The only reason it’s not a 5 star for me is because the texture of the fleece is not as soft on the inside as I’d like it to be. But it’s not scratchy and honestly it’s pretty darn close to perfect. It did also feel kind of tight in the chest but I do have a big rib cage. I do usually buy XL in all athletic tops/jackets/hoodies but I probably would’ve sized up had I realized it’d be kinda tight in the chest

Purchased this in Men's L. I'm 6'2", 190 lbs and the fit is great. It's a pretty universal fit, meaning it's somewhat loose in the body and arms, but it works well for this type of sweater. It's very warm and looks fantastic. I love all the colour schemes of Cotopaxi apparel. It's a unique look from a unique company. I'd far rather stay clear of the mainstream outdoor apparel brands and try things from smaller or lesser known companies. Overall I'm very impressed and definitely recommend. Pair this with a underneath and a decent midlayer and you're toasty in anything above -10.

It looks nice and the color is even better in person. The sleeves are tight. I have small to average arms and a medium fits me like spandex. The chest also seems tight, but the waist and length of the sleeves are great. The construction seems poor for this price range as well. The first time I put my hands in the pocket, I snagged a some loose threads. You'd think at this price range the finish would be better.
This is my first Cotopaxi fleece. I like it so far! Very warm, and quality seems good.I ordered a medium and it fits my torso well as a tall skinny guy (6'2, 160lbs). The arms are just long enough that they meet my wrists but don't bunch up, but they do ride up when I reach out. This is true with most long sleeves though, so I won't knock this particular item for it.
I was introduced to Cotopaxi last year and have since purchased 6 items from the store - each more exciting than the last. I'm a huge gift giver (it's my love language) but occasionally struggle to choose something that I feel is perfect for someone I love. I cannot even begin to explain how exciting it is find a company where I can get beautiful, vibrant, sustainable and quality gifts for both myself and my loved ones. Not to mention the tote & backpack I got free with my purchases?? Y'all have made Christmas so much fun this year & I can't thank you enough. Happy Holidays to all who celebrate!
I really love the materia (super soft)l and color of my Teca Fleece pullover. I do have one problem with the fit, though. I'm 5'9, 180ish, broad shoulders and it fits me fine everywhere except the collar with the buttons. I find that the collar runs too close under my chin when the popped up--too far up my neck. Not a big deal, I'm folding it down. Pros outweigh cons.
I really enjoy my Cotopaxi Teca! The fleece is warm and cozy, and the marsupial pocket is perfectly sized to place something in there. It fits well and has enough give to roll up my sleeves a bit as well.On the downside - the marsupial pocket is lined with the same polyester "taffeta" that's on the front stripe, and both really have the tendency to get cold faster than anything else. The one time I wore it out in 40º weather, my chest got cold on the stripe portion, and my hands weren't being warmed up by the pockets because it's the same material.I'd still recommend this, especially as a fleece to wear inside or in milder temperatures (like 45-55º). It's cozy and one of my go-tos in the closet!
A high quality garment for sure. I just felt as though it ran a bit baggy around the torso. I'll use is more over a sweater than over a shirt/jersey. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the time it took to arrive. It appears that they only ship from UT. That is certainly not ideal for east coast peeps.
This is the first fleece I’ve owned, and it’s incredible. I’ve used it around the house, on outdoor walks, and while skiing the Colorado mountains. Has kept me toasty without overheating. The polyester is soft and lightly textured. Stitching is strong. People love the vibrant blue - I do too! How they get their recycled fabric to look so good is anyone’s guess. Fits slightly larger than expected but that made for a more comfortable loose fit. Not a big enough difference to warrant going down a size. It makes an unbeatable duo with my cotopaxi fanny pack.
