It's the perfect weight for fending off the windchill from biking on those early fall/late spring mornings that aren't chilly enough for a sweatshirt. Literally my only complaint is that the fabric seems to rip easily. One time I put my hands in the pockets apparently a little too vigorously, and the material ripped about half an inch up from the bottom edge of the pocket. It didn't even rip along a seam. I've never had this problem with Cotopaxi clothing before, so I was pretty disappointed. It's a nice enough windbreaker that I'm going to repair it, but it definitely loses a star.

This product is very good at what it does, but definitely isn't the end-all-be-all. Super lightweight, incredibly compactable (I often stuff it into the leg pockets of my shorts), and does a fair job protecting from light rain & wind. It is definitely not breathable especially compared to other rain jackets with pit zips, but it's not trying to replace your rain jacket. It is perfect for windy and foggy or slightly drizzly conditions. Also provides a fair amount of warmth - just expect to shed it when you start sweating. Love the pockets and the quarter zip is big enough that I can take it off with a helmet on, which is very very nice. Doesn't do everything, but does what it tries to do very well. The colors are also very fun!

The one very minor issue I've had is that the zipper on the 'kangaroo' pouch pocket catches on the fabric flap above it... so I have to be kinda cafeful there that it doesn't snag. Very happy with this and will be back for more.
A very well made jacket. I wouldn't change anything about it other then I feel like $80 is on the steep side for a thin windbreaker. I would have given 5 stars if it was priced better. I feel like they could also have provided a color option that was nuetral (grey's, blacks, whites) as I'm not a huge fan of these strange color groupings. I do like how it fits though. I'm a big dude at 6'4 220 and it has a great fit. Usually I have to find something extremly large to fit my long arms, but then it's overly baggy through the middle (because I don't have a fat gut, haha). This jacket has a nice mid to slim fit in the center while still having great flexing throughout the back, and conforms without being restrictive. I haven’t yet tried to see if the hood can fit over a bicycle helmet, but if not, it can certainly fit under one! I stopped to check the mail and there was the carboard mailer with the Teca half-zip windbreaker inside. I had on a light hoodie and it was just beginning to drizzle. At 48 degrees it did not feel pleasant. So I opened up the package and pulled on the windbreaker right there with the tags still attached. It fit great. I liked the pouch in front to put my hand in that was not holding the dog leash. The windbreaker kept me dry and warm despite the light drizzly rain. When I got back my wife asked me where I got the great looking windbreaker. I read through tons of reviews that stated this product ran small, and to size up. I typically wear a medium and against my better judgment, I succeeded to the previous reviews, and went up a size to a Large. *Regret* In my case, a medium would have fit me perfect (( 5'9"-155#)). The large still fits *decent, but a medium would have be the correct size. The large is just too long in the torso. I mainly purchased this product to wear over my trail running vest, so maybe having a Large isn't too big of a deal.*Super super light weight*Easily compacts into my running vest pouch*Cool color pattern
Weighs almost nothing really and folds small (as big as its internal pocket) and you can fold that in half again, compress out the air and it will fit into most of Cotopaxi's waist packs and pouches. I've machine washed them many times and air dried fine, the water repellency still works. I got 2 on rotation and 1 each for the men in my household. They normally like solid single colors but don't seem to mind the mish mash of colors on these. They also make great gifts because they fold small and won't use much wrapping paper. Though thin, the material does an excellent job in keeping both rain and wind out. A tip: buy 1-2 sizes bigger if you often carry day packs so they can also cover them in a jiffy.

The Teca is very lightweight, thin, and packable just like the Houdini. The material is also on the louder side of synthetic fabrics. YKK Vislon zipper at the half zip is smooth and sturdy. Seams are not stitched flat but lay flat and are not uncomfortable. Mobility is great and the hem hugs the body for the little ride it does take upwards if you stretch your arms up.The Teca cuts wind very well as one might hope and is very resistant to mist and light drizzles. It will wet out relatively quickly and isn't designed for sustained exposure to rain. The colorways are fantastic if you like bold and bright. I have the "Sea Salt" and love how it slips in with my existing wardrobe. I am 5'10, 165lbs and the medium fits extremely well. It's not too box-y and not quite as slim fitting as the Houdini.Overall, the Teca does what it advertises and looks very good doing it. If you like bold colors and functional kit, I don't think you will be disappointed with this windbreaker.
