As instructed it’s 4 capsules a day, and while they are quite large, they also don’t have any discernible taste or scent so I can quickly take them one at a time without a problem. I’ve only just begun taking them and I’m happy to report no adverse reactions, but it’s a little too soon to know exactly how well these will work for me. I’ll definitely continue on with them and hope to see some benefits for my hair, scalp and nails. I also love that there is a coupon on the insert that it can be used online, since none of the stores carrying these supplements are close by!

I bought Country Life Maxi-Hair Plus for my parents, who were experiencing brittle and fragile nails. I wracked my brains about what I’d eaten or habits I’d changed recently and did some research on this product. It turns out that high levels of B6 can result in a toxicity that causes peripheral neuropathy (pins and needles in the extremities). PubMed even state that supplements containing B6 as low as 50mg can trigger peripheral neuropathy and that labels should include a warning to highlight the side effect. I stopped taking the product and the PN eventually disappeared. Please exercise caution and do your research before purchasing.

Noticeable Improvment!

My daughter gave me her bottle because she said it affected her thyroid and she felt weird. So i do not have thyroid issues and took it. I noticed a change in my nails and hair growth after a month. My nails were so strong and long, and my hair seemed thicker. I stopped taking it however (i don't know why) and tried Nutrafol which didn't work for me. As soon as i started taking the Nutrafol all my nails broke and chipped and i didn't see hair improvment. So i went back to Maxi Hair Plus and my nails are growing and much stronger again and my hair seems stronger and more new hairs. I have very long hair, so i can tell when i'm shedding. The only downside is that you have to take 4 pills daily. I'm used to now though, I take 2 in the morning and 2 at night

The greatest product ever

When I take this my hair starts growing like crazy and I don’t have any problems with loosing hair and my skin and nails become perfect. The quality is just amazing. Size is fully acceptable. You have to take 4 pills a day, but because I take other multivitamins and minerals, I take 2 per day. So dosage is different than the prescription, but the benefit is visible in just 10 days after taking. Taste is strange, but not bad. A little residual smell. Not a problem.
