I bought a number of these on sale (3x). They're a good cut, stretchy without having too much elastane and have a slight shine about them. They fit well, look good for lots of occasions and I find the True-fit feature very good, particularly after loosing a lot of weight and updating my sizes. All colours I bought look great and are the same quality.
I bought these for my husband as an exact replacement for previous CR shorts he had that he’s worn to death. He’s very happy with them. Good fit, smart and comfortable- everything he’s after. Recommend them 👍

Like the fit. Very comfortable but the pockets seem deep enough but because of the way they are formed, things fall out of them all the time. I have my phone in the front pocket and it regularly falls out when I'm sitting down. Same thing happened with my keys. Also, these shorts get wrinkly very fast. I wish they would increase the size of the pockets and make these in jeans.
Shorts are often shoddily made, fit badly and, even worse, after a first wash, loose all their shape. What I like about the Country Road shorts is that they are neatly made and look smart enough to wear with a nice linen shirt to meet friends, go to a gig or have dinner. They are not sports gear, which is a plus for me.
Bought these for my 20-something year old to wear to a family lunch. The colour (sunset) is unusual but goes really well with a long sleeved business shirt, polo or tee.
