My 15 year old son only had and would wear 1 pair of long pants & he grew tall but he still wanted to wear them even though they were now ankle length! He just hated trying new ones and didn’t like the fit or look. I didn’t want to purchase a pair of pants that he wouldn’t wear. Stubborn as he was we happened to go to country road for myself and whilst I was shopping he snuck in and tried on the black straight leg chinos. I was careful not to comment too favourably then he would have said they were no good. I noticed the price - 2 for $75 or $95 for one. We walked out. Next week he casually mentioned that that shop we went in had a sale on and he said we should take advantage of that. I bought those pants so quickly. They are amazing.

3 years. That's how long I had spent looking for chinos that fit perfectly without alteration. The 'unicorns' that fit well in the waist, thighs, length-wise and were also quality. In that time, I tried many but never found a pair (my closet is full of them). But after those gruelling years, finally.I had never shopped at Country Road before. It was a place for my GF (and parents). But I was walking past one lunch break and thought 'hey, look, why not'. I am glad I did. The tapered fit stretch chinos are brilliant. I'm sticking with these for as long as they sell them.Fit = A+Quality = A+Style = A+Colour selection = A+Price = A++ (with the rewards)Note: 178cm, 88kg, W34, the 34 fit perfectly. True to size.

A Classic. Purchased my first CR pants about 6-8 yrs ago. Love them for work - casually formal. Great fitting and quality fabric. Wear and wash really well. Perhaps a slight decline in quality when i compare inside waist bands - and I would encourage CR to focus on keeping that quality up that they are known for. Shoppers like me are sick of poor quality and I love CR for that reason - also the timeless aspect of CR's lines rather than fast fashion. WOULD also like to see more on sustainable supply chain / fabric initiatives given the unsustainable nature of the industry.

Good range of colours. No trouble with sizing. Happy to see steady improvement in fabric quality and better styling. Staff professional and helpful. Would like to see in-house taking up of cuffs.
Husband bought these for work. A perfect mix of stylishly casual- really difficult to find pants that are suitable for work - not too dressy like a work suit, not too casual like a chino. Highly recommend!
My husband usually doesn’t like chinos, but these are so nice! We both love them! They fit so well, look amazing on, can be dressed up or down. The colour is spot on too! Love that Country Road makes different fits for their chinos.
I’ve been a fan of CR chinos for a while – I own four pairs – but sadly it appears the cut has changed; the waist is higher and the seat longer, so I have to pull them up to my belly button to stop them from sagging hilariously under my butt. (I’m 5’6”, so short but not crazy short.) They are still high quality and well-made, so they deserve at least two stars, but they’re not for me anymore. It’s a sad thing in life to lose your safe and reliable pants supplier!
Bought for my son who is a gangly youth and all legs! The fit was good around the waist and the seat, but the legs of the chinos were too short for him and unfortunately we had to return them. Otherwise, liked the fabric and the look of the chinos on him.
I already had one pair of these chinos in another colour and they fit well so I bought another pair in the same size and the fit is not close. They're much tighter than the original pair I bought. For $129 a pair I would like to see some level of consistency within the same model of items.
Love the new tapered cut chino. They are a lot more comfortable than the slim cut. I have been wearing slims for years and whilst I find them good for moderate wear, they get a little uncomfortable if I wear them all day. I am pretty slim and have slim legs but I find they bunch up behind the knee a little too much and I need to keep pulling them down. This new tapered cut is great because they still look slim on but give you a little more room in the seat and at the knees. Great.
