Cheap and Cheerful Mini Workbench

Fine for light duties as you would expect given it’s price. Bought for craft work, cutting up balsa wood and the like. If you don’t need anything more it’s fine.

I bought this a few weeks ago but have only just needed to assemble it. What a a piece of junk the pre-drilled holes don't to put the top pieces on don't line up.Also neither the website or the box it comes in mention the maximum width that cam be clamped. I could not recommend this product at allBasically it is only suitable use as a childs toy. A n absolute waste of money

For $20 it does what I would expect for the price.

For $20 it does what I would expect for the price. Its not the strongest or most capable but seriously for $20 it performs as expected. Is it for a tradesperson? No. Will it last forever? No. Is it great value for $20? Yes. So its for stars purely from a value perspective.

Good value for money
13 February 2022

Simple design. I think you get what you pay for and I can't see it lasting forever, but value for money it's very good. Good grip with the bench adjustment. Instructions were a bit vague but follow the picture on the box and you'll get there.

Handy Workbench

Great workbench. the price was right and it was purchased for a specific project, not ongoing projects. I used this workbench to cut all the composite tiling I laid in the front entry area and outdoor patio. It was sturdy enough, and now it has a new home with my neighbours. I recommend this product, it is well priced, but not sure about longevity.

LOL

Brought today get what you paid for in this wobbly Folding Workbench LoL.Very lite & Flimsy , Doesn't look like it would hold the 100kg as it states , I will not attempt 100kg. Although each to their own personal opinion.

Make sure you have reasonable expectations
29 January 2022

I only needed something for a couple of DIY projects and did not want to spend a lot of money so this was perfect. If you do regular DIY work consider investing in something more expensive and sturdy than this. It feels flimsy while assembling but was sturdy enough to hold my work (with the aid of a couple of clamps) while using jigsaw. You should be pleased as long as you don't have super high expectations in terms of its build quality

Portable light duty work bench
17 April 2022

A well priced work work bench. I bought a pair for long timber job.Pros: can do small jobs without bending down, foldable, adjustable jaw to hold small object, light weight, Holes to put tools, a measuring scaleCons: Screw holds for boards not well aligned, jaws not be fully tightened, and can get loose while working on the job, light weight and so it may move is too much force is applied.Overall: It is not perfect but it covers most of my needs for small errands in the back yard. Value for money!

Some unfair reviews, don't believe them.

Firstly, for the price, these stands represent excellent value for money. Most of the negative reviews boil down to incorrect assembly. For those who said that when they screwed the wood to the frame, the pre drilled holes didn't line up, you put each screw in a couple of turns at a time, if you put the first one all the way in, it will skew the alignmentYes, each piece of the frame support is very thin, but once it is assembled, it becomes rigid, and does the job it is designed to do.Also, you need to tighten all the bolts as tight as you can with a 10mm socket and adjustable wrench, if you do that, it is not rickety, but very firm and stable. Finally, remember it is $18.00 and is marketed to hobbyists, you're not going to take this to a building site and use ... MoreFirstly, for the price, these stands represent excellent value for money. The other one I use as a stand for my 3d printer. If you follow the points I have mentioned, and use it within the parameters it is designed for, you'll be pleasantly surprised.PS One reviewer said that the pre drilled holes were not deep enough, and had to drill them deeper, I would strongly recommend that you don't do that. The screws need as much meat as they can get to bight into. Just get a good Phillips head screw driver, and use elbow grease to drive them home.I hope this helps

Very thin steel
18 January 2021

Understand you get what you pay for and this is a great example. If I had seen one assembled in the store I would not have bought it. But for $18,(or the price of two pints at the Adelaide oval cricket), it is okay. The steel is so thin it is a credit to the manufacturer that it even supports itself. But when assembled it is sort of okay and will hold up material or work as a trestle.
