Bought this tool with low expectations due to its very affordable price. Boy was I wrong! It does a fantastic job of removing staples and it is a very well made and sturdy tool. So many staples and still a fiddly job but getting there. Had been trying to do the job with a screwdriver but that was useless. Highly recommend this tool.

I bought this to remove staples left in hardwood floor after the removal of masonite sheets.The tip of the tool was too big to fit into the staple. The staples were quite small.The product failed to complete the task. Furthermore, I won't be able to get a refund as I had toremove packaging that it came with in order to attempt to use it.

We were so glad to see this remover which made my work easier for refurbishing chairs. Even female like myself could use it easily.
This product will unpick your good mood, but not your staples. Better buy Rapid Tools brand which Bunnings used to stock - please bring them back!
Made life so much easier pulling up all the staples from the carpet underlay. Have a pair of pliers handy as sometimes it will pull one side out of the hardwood floor, easy to pull the reminder with with pliers.
Unchamfered sharp metal edges on the inside upper part of it indicates poor QA, hence low rating. Meanwhile the part at the bottom that actually removes the staples isn't sharp enough to remove all staples easily, so might have to sharpen it. Can remove staples using one hand.Only bought it because it was cheap.I actually prefer removing nails with my old knife because it has magnetic properties and the staples attach it it when removed, but i need two hands to remove them this way as the knife is too long.

I bought this tool to pull staples from old upholstered chairs (thousands!). I’d already done three sides of one chair with screwdriver and pliers and my shoulder and hands were aching. So I tried this little guy and SO much easier. The staples were deeply embedded, some were thicker and more substantial and it did the job on them all no problems. I didn’t break any staples either and easy on my body too, so happy!
I'm happy with this product. I bought 3 similar versions online, that all broke 30 seconds into using it. This product is still going, thousands of staples later.
