I was looking for a new pair of flat pedal kicks after breaking my toe, happened to be wearing freeriders that offered no toe protection and being unsatisfied with the quality of the new version I opted for the Crankbros. I was concerned by reviews saying that the grip was lacking- I don’t know what pedals they were using but with my Hope F22’s they offer exactly the same grip as the freeriders, the soles may not be as durable though as I’m noticing some marking and indents from them straight away. Comfort- A1 once broken in- they feel a lot more snug to the point I wanted to size up but glad I stuck my my standard 0.5 above measured foot size. They feel more padded and secure on the foot than the 5.10’s they look cooler too, see fewer ppl wearing these which is nice.

I have been riding Five Ten's for years, Freerider, FR Pro. I was looking for a show that was more comfortable for longer rides and would not absord as much water in wet conditions. The Stamp lace meet these criteria. The rubber is not quite a grippy as the Five Ten soles but I haven't noticed any drop in performance on flow trails on my hard tail or more aggressive trails riding my full suspension bike. There is some pedal bounce on choppy, rooty trails riding a hardtail but the increase in fit and comfort is worth it. I would recommend as a everyday flat pedal show for most riders.

I think these are great and definitely grip my pedals. I don't use them for mountainbiking but was struggling with my previous shoes slipping.. they are comfortable. Advice from Crank brothers for wide feet was to go up a half size but had to got to a full size up to fit my wide feet. So had to return a pair to Tredz and order another pair.I bought the black and red and think they look stylish and the flap to tidy up the laces is great! I Got them muddy on my first ride out in them but they cleaned up great! So far, I am really happy with them 😊

I love the look, style and grip of these shoes especially when matched with the pedals.I have bought the white/gum shoes 3 times. Each time they lasted about a month before the leather on top of the toes breaks and comes away.CRANK BROTHERS you need to use better leather/glue with the white/gum trainers they seriously only last about a month before the leather rips on top of the shoe around the toes area.I liked these shoes so much that the last time I bought them I thought I would only use them for 'best' and not use them for cycling as the leather is too fragile but sadly within about 2 months the leather had ripped & they looked terrible & un-saveable.I'd love to buy these shoes again but they only last a month before the leather rips up & they look ... Have only put a few rides in on these shoes, but am happy so far. They're comfortable, have good grip and stiffness on the pedals, but are still comfortable to walk in, seem to provide a reasonable amount of protection, and are a little bit less bulky than my old freeriders. They have some nice details too like the lace keeper and the grippy material in the heel of the shoe that helps hold the heel in place. Seems like they are pretty true to size. I wear 10.5s for most athletic shoes, and a 10.5 in these fit perfectly.
Shoe is overall a great MTB clip shoe. The match system works great with mallet pedals. The shoes coming with the cleats already on is also a bonus!!The one downside and all it took was getting accustomed to it was that the heel feels a little short. Almost like your foot will peel out the back. There are little rubber studs that hold/grip your sock in the heel of the shoe and it helps, but the feeling is still there and takes a few rides to adjust to.
Great comfortable shoes that work well with flat pedals. Out in the light rain for 3 or 4 hours and they kept my feet dry. Love the lace tidy feature to make sure your laces don't come undone or get trapped in your chain. Pretty stylish and understated too.
This is my first set of “clipless” (ie, clipped in) shoes and pedals. I’m happy with the set up. Previously, I had been wearing the flat pedal version of this shoe (Stamp) and really liked it. The Mallet show is equally as comfortable.
I have given these shoes 4 stars as have only just bought and not tried them in the rain as yet , although they should be fine from the look of them . Warm and comfortable , really smart looking .I ordered a full size up from my usual 12 having read other comments , which proved correct . The 13 is the same as a normal 12 . . Used mainly for road biking as I much prefer the look of MTB shoes ;The lace pocket is a nice touch . I needed to do an exchange on another pair of shoes I had tried out on a ride and the response from Tredz was all I could have wished .All sorted quickly ; Highly recommend them for customer service
Two kids active in BMX-Race discipline on national level have opted for this model, as it is lighter as other competitors, offers a nice color, and has a fantastic solution for collecting the strings. Sole stiffness and clean estetic is also a plus. We'll see what happens at the pump track nationals next September
