They work pretty good but the color options are kinda iffy. I find myself reaching for my supertips more often than these becausr of the color selection. The fine and brush nib set up is great it would be better if the fine tip side was the darker shade than the brush that way you can outline and fineline whatever your drawing/coloring instead of having the fine nib being the lighter color. Dont get me wrong its a great product but could use a few tweaks here and there.

Amazing markers!

The Crayola Signature Brush & Detail Dual Ended Markers, 16 Count is just one of the best items I got this year! I am crazy about art materials and I have a pretty extensive marker collection. As an Architect, I need to have the right tools to be able to express my creativity and develop new ideas. Those markers are high quality and very durable. Each marker has double tip with rich, consistent colors that provide me just what I need to develop my creativity and express myself. I love the box that those markers came in. It is very classy and perfect to display on my room and the box makes this product a great gift idea to give to a loved one. I am truly in love with those markers and I don't have enough words to express how satisfied I am with this amazing product.

Different colors on dual tips

This is a great overall product. It would be great for calligraphy or adult coloring books which I used them for. When I first saw that they were dual tip I thought that it meant the colors red on both tips (larger and small) but what actually got was more primary colors on the larger tips with different, complementing colors on the smaller tip. This made it difficult for my use of adult coloring book if I had something small to fill in but could only use the smaller tips colors. Also some of the smaller tips colors seemed to run out quite fast. They are really only good for small/ short projects. I had no issues with these markers bleeding and the larger tips had such a nice fluidity to them that they made it enjoyable to relax and use knowing they would complete ... MoreThis is a great overall product. Great Marker Set for Adults & Bonus Storage Tin

Lovely set of markers with a nice storage tin. Sophisticated enough for adults, I love the dual brush pens and complimentary colors. Good variety of colors for kids and up. Makes a nice gift. I use them on thicker sketch pad paper. I have not tried them yet in adult coloring books. The colors are vibrant and Marker stay organized into different trays in the tin what you can take out. Treat yourself!

I could tell with one stroke that these weren’t true brush tip markers. The black is transparent also. Not a deep black that most people want.Brush tip markers have some “give” or “flexibility” to get the thick to thin lines. These do not. And if you try to put pressure down to allow it to bend, they stay bent.I wouldn’t have picked crayola markers on my own, so this is what I get for asking my boyfriend to pick me up brush tip markers, not having the heart to tell him they’re worthless, and trying to use them anyway. Not What I ordered

The set that I purchased said dual tip, which I thought meant that the same color marker would have both a brush tip at one end & a fine point tip on the other. But the brushes are mismatched. Each marker has two separate colors. Therefore I have a black brush tip on one end and no black fine tip. I actually don’t even have a black fine tip on any other market in the entire package. I am very disappointed.

Problem with Brush Tip

The brush tip feathers (I don't know if this is the correct term - it gets less pointy at the end because it separates??) and makes the paper soggy, sometimes putting a hole in it if I try to make the color even by going over it a few times. That's the other problem - it's difficult to keep the color even because if you go over one spot more than once - it's darker than the rest. But, it's impossible not to do. The fine tip is better in this regard, but the colors are not the same. They're more muted. I wouldn't purchase again. If Staples was closer to me, I'd return these.

Some reviews are generous

I'm hoping I can return these after testing them out. I'm not impressed with them. I saw a video review that made them look decent. They don't really bleed from what I've seen but they don't blend well either. They work just like the kids ones. You can see every line, they don't blend well and they treat their sketch paper if you concentrate in any spot too long. I would not recommend for adult use or semi professional use.

They come in a really cute tin that is easy to keep up with and keep the markers organized. There's 16 dual-tip markers included in the set for a total of 32 colors, though I will say a few of the colors are very similar to one another. The brush tips are darker shades while the detail tips are lighter. I absolutely love these markers and think that they are an amazing set for beginners. Coloring with them is a breeze and, although the tips are a little firm for such a task, I do like them for the calligraphy too.
