Dual pc streaming

This card used with the elgato has been a life saver. If you have a dual pc one gaming one streaming then this will help with all of the audio issues. Use digital out from the gaming to the input of this card which is in the streaming pc and then in the sound settings make sure to check listen to this device. Plug your headset into the streaming pc and select it as output and the sound blaster digital in as input. There you go all is working sounds great as well.

Easy install, nice clean sound, better than MB built in

I’m only a novice audiophile but I noticed a quality difference right away with headphones on. The software is fun to tweak and shape the sound and save profiles for. Everything worked out of the box without any excessive tinkering. My sole complaint is there is only one way to switch between speakers and headphones and thats by launching the app and hitting a toggle. Mapping that to a keystroke or a r-click menu would be ideal.

Fine Sound Card for My Needs

I needed a sound card in order to connect a soundbar (and subwoofer) to my PC. The onboard optical output only would do two channels, for some reason. I couldn't find anything in the mb's configuration or the OS's config to allow it. But adding the sound card worked like a charm. Very happy, and not terribly expensive.

Great Upgrade
20 March 2023

Using this on the media room old Win 7 computer this card works remarkably well for music and movies. Runs fine without installing all the bells and whistles software from Creative. One note: It does not decode anything beyond Dolby Digital or DTS such as DD+ or Atmos. Still sounds much better than the onboard audio for music and beyond.

Great card but difficult to stay connected
1 December 2021

Great sound card. It just keeps jumping from the regular line to S/PDIF. But, I think that has something to do with my computer. I have to continue to download the driver even though I believe they are still there.Maybe I should just switch to S/PDIF.

Has Really Useful Extra Feature
12 August 2022

I use the SB Z in my Windows 10 PC. I use the SPDIF Out to supply my external DAC, and this works great. Using the Windows Volume Mixer, I can sum all the various sources of sound generated by apps on the PC. But here's the cool part: I can also sum in the output of an external streamer, like a BlueSound Node. The streamer feeds the SB Z's SPDIF input. Within the SB Z app, Mixer, on the PC, i enable the SPDIF input, while under Advanced Features, I select Play stereo mix to digital output. Fabulous! Thanks, Sound Blaster! Thanks B&H!

It Fixed A Problem!
8 June 2022

I an hearing impaired as a result of my service in Viet Nam. (Think guns, bombs and explosions) The VA has furnished me very functional hearing assist devices, which sends the audio from the computer directly into my hearing aids by means of an adapter using Bluetooth technology. The audio equipment found on motherboards is second rate, resulting in garbled, undecipherable human voices. After I got it configured, the Sound Blaster card cleared up the garbled human voices instantly.

Much better than onboard sound
4 November 2021

Upgraded to this card over the SB SE that burned out in my wife's machine and she has told me that her sound was much better...and the previous sound card was much better than the onboard chip before it. She's happy with it, which makes me happy with it. I have one in my PC as well, and I am in love with the sound.

The Creative Sound Z SE
23 December 2021

The Creative Sound Z SE is a great card for audio output. It has multitude of fine control when you define your own profile and the default profiles can be on the louder side if you are unprepared. Overall I use my card for gaming, content creation and general watching of streaming content. The sound is crisp clear and doesnt pop like standard onboard audio.

Unfortunately Bad Product
10 August 2021

I use to have this product but unfortunately it kept stuffing up, setting it up was easy but the sound was glitchy, once i got it to work 2 hours later i worked normal but as soon you unplugged something from it and back in it would sound glitchy again and distorted. Got a replacement one and it did the same thing 2 weeks later. Since then i bought an evga soundcard and never had a problem.
