Bottled opulence. Woody, spicy, oriental. It’s a beautiful western take on what is essentially middle eastern perfumery. It’s a crying shame that Creed gouges the prices of this one to the moon and back, because it oozes refinement from every spray. This isn’t something you’d wear to the grocery store, this is something you’d wear to your coronation as King. Despite the ridiculous asking price, I dare say it earns it. Creed has created a modern masterpiece here, and it borders on sinful that it has fallen to the wayside in lieu of its older brother Aventus.

My favorite creed, in my eyes this is top three best fragrances ever made. Very gentlemanly, leans a bit mature. It would be hard to wear this casually, but is great for special events or if your someone who wears a suit and tie daily. The first time I wore this fragrance my wife asked “ what are you wearing? It smells expensive.” And I think that pretty much sums up Creed Royal Oud.

The most underrated fragrance from the house of Creed and by far the classiest. There is a reason William and Kate wore this to their royal wedding. A great entry level Oud fragrance for those wanting to test the waters. This fragrance does lean more masculine due to the ensemble of wood essences outside of Oud itself and base of Tonkin musk. There is also cedar and sandalwood in the composition. Lemon and bergamot top notes make this a very clean take on oud. Galbanum and Angelica root provide a green element. With that said you get somewhat of a fougère effect. Clean, sexy, lavish.

Very woody/cedar scent. I can barely notice the oud in the background. Open with a sparkling, spicy, bright and woody notes. After 15-30 in my skin it tone down to a warmer scent, the sparkling recess and replaced by a more sensual of the amber and cedar notes, tho the spicy still in the corner. And finished with a sweet and warming amber/wood. Suitable for fall/winter, night and/or colder weather. Can be very intimate. Not a clubbing scent.

Absolutely amazing, husband’s signature scent

The longevity and the sheer oomph of this amazing fragrance is beyond belief. Masculine and powerful and sexy as well. My husband loves this oud scent and how long it stays on. He has complements about it all tge time and always get asked what he’s wearing when he has it on.

I love it very much. Every time I wear it, got so many compliments. This smells like nothing else and I mean that in the best way possible. Absolutely stunning. It dries down into the most beautiful, sweet woody scent that lasts a long time. This fragrance has a deep, rich slightly sweet oud scent. It has rich, full, deep notes and lasts forever. It settles into the most beautiful oud scent I've ever smelled.

Not worth the money ... at all ....

So I saw some YouTube video's about this fragrance; how amazing it was, how it was the best, etc...etc... I decided to take the plunge and ordered a $600 bottle. It arrived, and spraying it on my first reaction was "Eeewww....." but I wanted to let it settle in for a while and see if it got better. It didn't. It also doesn't last long at all. I should have bought another bottle of Aventus, or tried Viking. My recommendation is: save your money. Buy something else.

My mother bought this for my father when I was a child many times - & I kept the tradition of getting it for my ex bf of 6yrs.Now with my husband-to-be, I am seriously thinking of keeping the tradition. This is the most delicious scent on a man! It's opulent & overwhelming in a good way - yet also fresh & invigorating.
