Really solid wrench and about the best value I've found. In particular, I bought a 15 inch version to use at work in an industrial setting and it's been great so far. Bit of play in jaws but pretty much always the case -- snug it up on your bolt and it won't matter anyway. The taper handle is super comfortable.

I own the 10" and 12" wrench and both are comfortable in my hand and quality made. I wouldn't hesitate to put a pipe on the handle for stubborn bolts. Every back yard mechanic should have both these quality adjustable wrenches in their tool box. They work on both metric and standard bolts and fill in as a second wrench of any size, all you need is one set of wrenches with these. A lot cheaper than buying a second full set of wrenches. I think the 10" is just the right size for auto work. I like the Crescent brand and wouldn't buy any other. I am my family's go to back yard mechanic and keep all the jalopies running, even the lawnmowers so I highly recommend this adjustable wrench.

This is strong, quality adjustable wrench at a great price. The Form and handle is durable, the wrench opening has a good range, and the Imperial and Metric measurements at the opening are great for finding a specific jaw size for the project.
While the 8" Crescent wrench is my 'most often used' adjustable wrench sometimes I need a little more width or a little more leverage and that's when the 10" Crescent wrench (Item # AC210VS) comes into play.I acquired this particular wrench as a duplicate of one hanging in my garage - every time I needed one in the basement the tool was in the garage, and vice-versa.I have rated the Quality with "5 bars", based on the overall strength and capabilities of the wrench. However this particular wrench came with a small mar in the chrome finish. I did not remove a bar from the rating because the mar is quite small, doesn't impact the usability of the wrench in any way and, I suspect, is not typically a problem with Crescent wrenches. It is "heat treated forged alloy steel" with a chrome finish and feels solid and durable. I've leaned on Crescent wrenches pretty hard in the past and have yet to break one (I'm sure it can be done, I've just never done it myself).Unlike the smaller 6" and 8" wrenches this 10" wrench did not come equipped with a rubberized handle. In cold weather the chrome handle can be pretty uncomfortable to grip unless one is wearing gloves. (Home Depot sells a plastic/rubber "dipping" material that I've read good things about and I intend to give it a try on my Crescent wrenches that did not come with rubberized grips).The 10" wrench comes with a laser engraved scale so that you can 'dial in' the width of the jaws (from closed to 1 5/16" inches) before applying to the work. I've come to like this feature - when you're working under a sink or some such and cannot easily get to the knurled knob to make adjustments easily it's nice to not to have to guess at exactly where (for instance) a 1" opening would be.I'm fond of the Crescent wrench design; while I have fairly complete set of open/box wrenches the adjustable Crescent wrench design allows me to carry one or two wrenches to the job rather than take several open/box wrenches in the hope that I've included the correct ones in the group.A nice tool to have!HTHRegards,Jim
I chose the 10” adjustable wrench because I needed tools to make a tool tote for my new side by side. This wrench is a good size and weight. It isn’t too heavy but you know you have it in your hand. I really like the fact that the jaws extend to 1-5/16 inches which makes it ideal for any of the nuts and bolts on my buggy. Another nice feature is the knurls on the adjustment so if my hands are greasy I can still adjust it with ease. The final thing I really like about the wrench is it has a nice wide handle to provide ample torque to release even the toughest nut
I use this to work up in the air working on old signs. Comes in handy when previous people have replaced every fastener with a different size. I love how this tool feels classic and new at the same time. It's got a nice heft. I'll be honest I've used this as a hammer more than a few times. It always adjusts freely with one hand. Hasn't let me down yet.
The 10” True Crescent wrench aka adjustable wrench is a great tool to have. I use it at a manufacture plant to build machines. This wrench has markings to tell you if the bolt or nut is metric or imperial. Along with what size if you need a wrench. But most likely this adjustable wrench will handle the job. The wrench is comfortable in the hand. Easy to adjust with your thumb. I highly recommend getting one.
