The Cressi front zipper shorty wetsuit allows me to continue using an outdoor pool when the air temp is in the 70s and the water temp is in the low 60s. Exactly what I wanted for exercising in the pool long past summer. The front zipper makes it a breeze to get into it and out of it by myself (and I've had surgery on both shoulders). The large is a tad big on me (I'm 5'2" and 125), but I went with that size for easy on and off, and that works fine. The only criticism I have is that the neckline is lower than I had hoped -- the cold water seeps right down my neck. I solved that by wearing an old mock turtleneck shirt under it. So, all in all, a good buy!

Purchased this front zipper shorty for a recent snorkel trip. I tend to get cold after several hours in the water. This 2mm shorty did the trick! Sizing was perfect (I?m 5?8? and 130 lbs). It was comfortable and the extra layer made for an enjoyable snorkeling vacation!! Definitely a quality product. Leisure Pro?s exceptional service shipped my order immediately and I had it within two days. Thanks for providing an excellent product and wonderful service!

I had bought wetsuits for my grandson and me so we could swim in the pool year-round. Your size chart was right on. I'm a size W22 and the suit fits me perfectly. Not bulky at all. I can easily do my water exercises. 5-yr old grandson loves his suit too. These suits have doubled our pool time!

The style is becoming, but, unfortunately, the material irritated my skin just from the try-on. I thought the material was a smooth stretchy type, but it was very rough and uncomfortable. I returned it and requested a store credit to try again. I am looking for a cover-up that is suitable for cool water, indoor pool swimming.
I wanted a shorty wetsuit to get me through the transitional weather, from full Tri suit for winter swimming to regular bathing suits for summer swimming. This seemed like a great value and it definitely fit the bill for my purposes. It kept my core warm in my 72 degree pool and was pretty comfortable. The only cons is that although I am not particularly long waisted, it felt a bit short through the torso. Not too uncomfortable but noticeable. And as others have said, the material does stick to your wet skin so trying to shimmy out of it by yourself can be difficult. For anyone with shoulder and arm mobility issues, it would be extremely difficult and a back zip suit would probably be better. For anyone with shoulder and arm mobility issues, it would be extremely difficult and a back zip suit would probably be better. The front zip is super easy to get on, but much more difficult to remove, especially since it is short sleeves so you have nothing to really roll or pull from the arm. I got suits for both me and my husband. I can get mine off alone, but he is stiffer through the shoulders and it is extremely difficult for him so I help him peel it off. But the zipper is sturdy and smooth and I expect it to last a long time with proper post use care.
I followed the size guide chart to make my size selection for this Cressi shortie, which I need for an 800M open water swim event. The fit is spot on and it is well made, BUT i found the fit around my shoulders and under my armpits too tight and consequently restricting for swim strokes. Measurements for these areas would be helpful. In any event, i have returned the item for the next size up. So, i recommend getting the next size up from your recommended size if you intend to use this suit for swimming for distance or length of time.
I'm 5'77", 109lbs. So usually a small, which is what I bought. It's a bit large overall on me, seeping water on flip turns. And its not quite long enough: the old in-my-crack problem. So: I need a smaller, longer suit but my frame is not necessary standard small. It is useful: the 2mm it keeps me warm when the 79F water seeps in. Front zipper makes it possible to take off by myself, though with arthritis in my hands its difficult: alot of wriggling necessary. Back zipper would be impossible.Only really distasteful part: the seams near the armpits rub, and since that's tender skin, it hurts. Glide helps.Overall, I'll use it happily bec. it keeps me warm. But it's not a dream purchase.
Apparently, wetsuit manufacturers assume only rail-thin people need wetsuits. I ordered an extra-large thinking it might fit and I was dead wrong. I honestly don't know where to order a wetsuit that will actually fit a plus-size person. I give up.
I would say it's a great fit if it weren't for the texture of suit. It's itchy, and I don't usually have an skin allergy or issue with fabrics and that sort of thing. Other than that, it does what it's supposed to do. The shipping took quit along time to get it delivered.
I think I need a men's farmer john. The sleeves on the Cressi are angled down like ladies blouses, not allowing motion. Also, the sleeves are sized for nonathletes. I struggled to get out after trying it on. Likely good for a slimmer, nonswimmer type.
