I bought this as a birthday gift for my wife. She absolutely loves it.She has used several smaller manual heat presses, but she was limited on the size of the iron on’s, and the finished product didn’t always come out the way she would have liked. She loves that you can adjust the temperature and the time. It automatically lifts when the timer goes off. She has made several shirts as Christmas gifts and they all turned out looking professional made. It was a bit pricy, but I expect she will get several years of use out of it.It is heavy, very well built, and fairly large so I suggest that you have a sturdy work area to place it on.

Awesome Autopress

I love my new Cricut Autopress! This design is so much more reliable when pressing because the top comes over and lowers down directly onto the "blank". In addition the application of pressure as well as the release is fully automated, which is important for continuity. The Autopress is a large piece of equipment, and honestly, I wouldn't mind if the surface area was even larger for very large t-shirts. That said, I appreciate the ability to stand it on its side as a storage option that is more space saving. This is an expensive item, and I took advantage of a sale to shave several hundred dollars off the price tag! I hope to make and sell enough shirts that this will pay for itself in a short time!

Disappointed.
31 January 2023

For how expensive this item is, I'm dismayed that EVERY time I try to use it, I get an error code and it auto-shuts off. The only information on the addressing the issue is to unplug the unit and let it sit for at least 60 seconds before plugging in and trying again. This process, for me, has to be repeated 3-7 times before the error code goes away and the unit will complete the heating cycle to be able to be used. Also, I have yet to reach anyone in customer service. I am left on an endless cycle of hold, which after 30-60 minutes I just hang up. On the positive side, when it does finally work, it gets the job done, and I really like the auto release arm when the time has completed. However, if I knew then what I know now, I would have probably just purchased a ... MoreFor how expensive this item is, I'm dismayed that EVERY time I try to use it, I get an error code and it auto-shuts off. Great Features! A Crafter's Best Friend!
8 May 2023

Absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the features, the function, the aesthetics, and the performance of this machine! I've wanted a heat press for ages but just was not interested in the 'industrial' look or function of them. The Cricut Autopress, on the other hand, compliments my craft room and allows me to meet the needs of my small business. It truly is a commercial grade product. Would highly recommend. Loved it so much I purchased a second one when they were on sale!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS LITTLE GEM!
10 August 2023

I already own one and bought another over prime days. It is the EASIEST press to use! I love it. I purchased a commercial one before I bought the autopress but it required me to apply pressure on some things and I have rheumatoid arthritis and can't do that with my hands. I returned the commerciaI one. I was so sad I wouldn't be able to sublimate things, but then the autopress came out and I was so happy after watching the video. It has been a dream to work with!

New press used for FreeStanding lace applique !
2 September 2023

I use this to fuse stabilizer on to the back of fabric for FreeStanding lace (appliqué) embroidery, then I cut my fabric shapes out using the cricut. This is a game changer ! ! ! It took me so long to get all my fabric ready for embroidery when I only had an iron to fuse the stabilizer but with the press if takes minutes! I cut my fabric and stabilizer 12" X 24" and it take 3 presses and I'm done! The best part is the stabilizer fuses to the fabric so much better and I don't have the separating problems I used to have when i used an iron!

I bought this at Michaels (absolutely no discount at Michaels for this item) I paid full price [xxx price , plus tax xxx, plus shipping price xxxx if you get it online) the week it was released (retail). Although it may seem like alot of bells and whistles. This is not worth the full price (however there is a sale now online) The surface area is only 12x15 (11x13.5 is the true heat area) for that, almost a $xxxx price tag , 12x15 area.. surely not. There is a new sale on this item online. I would try it out before purchasing it. as i mentioned alot of bells and whistles for pre-sets.many your not going to catch till weeks into using it. So great!

I love all the features of this Cricut Autopress! Safety is a huge priority for me since my children are always crafting with me: The machine itself stays cool and the heat is where it needs to be (unlike my other big, bulky heat press where the entire thing gets hot to the touch!). The auto open feature is helpful so I don't have to stand over it, the presets are great. The self adjusting close feature is a life saver for me because I have a shoulder injury that flares up very easily- my other press was constantly throwing it out from clamping it down and pulling hard to open to up). I have used it for ceramic coasters with infusible ink, sublimation print shirts, infusible ink on shirts, screen print transfers on shirts, direct to film transfers... The simple \"done beep\" / auto open is nice, as my other heat press gives out a shrill, quick repeat beep that makes me frantic! Setup was a breeze and I love how it stores away if I need to have more space. Also looks nice! All these extras are a wonderful addition to my craft room. Overall I highly recommend this Cricut Autopress.

Worth every penny and then some!!
11 August 2023

I recently discovered Amazon Days and noticed the Cricut Autopress on sale - nearly half off. I felt the full price was too much so didn't consider it until it was just about 1/2 off. I realize there's other (less expensive) heat presses on the market. However, I needed something that wasn't going further injure my neck when using. This one certainly did the trick. I couldn't be happier with how well it presses, it shuts off by itself, it heats up VERY quickly and there's also a lot of safety features I'm so happy to see. Hopefully, my grandkids will join in sometime in the future. I would purchase again if I had to make this decision over in the future.
