This metallic textured vinyl is fun to use. I have used it for a variety of projects. I recently cut two chickens and put each of them on a black canvas. I love how they shine! This is an awesome material!

I threw out two projects due to difficult weeding and this vinyl absolutely refusing to stick to regular transfer tape. Then we realized that the vinyl was supposed to include strong grip transfer tape, which it did not. While weeding, the adhesive under the vinyl sticks to the vinyl you're trying to remove so it's just a huge headache, discouraging, disappointing, and really makes the whole process not fun at all.

This vinyl is so difficult to weed and transfer. I wasted a lot of this vinyl and only after the fact, noticed that the roll was supposed to come with a sheet of strong grip transfer. Mine roll did not. I contacted customer service and they were incredibly nice and sent me a roll of... regular transfer paper. Thanks anyway though.

Used the cricut brand permanent vinyl to create some water bottles for my daughters friends. The material is extremely easy to use and I had no issues cutting or weeding the excess material. Transfer was easy and strong. I am sure there are other brands but felt confident using the cricut branded material since you know what you are getting!
I love and use this vinyl for wveruthing. It is incredibly easy to weed and looks beautiful. Ive rarely had it bubble on me, which means it was my application and not the material. Also, the grid on the back helps me be able to measure without needing to lay it down and use a ruler. Super helpful! Would recommend to everyone.
Seems like a premium product, but when compared to the cheap stuff you can buy on Amazon, this product is very hard to work with. Specifically when it comes to using transfer tape to remove from the backing and apply. Does not want to come off the backing at all, and with the backing being that super stiff plastic, it's almost impossible to peel. I ended up tearing a few letters and this stuff aint that cheap.
I have a joy and trying to cut on this is absolutely impossible to cut through with the Android version of the cricut app. I even tried diffrent material settings after using the correct setting didn't work, I tried setting the cutting pressure higher, I tried cutting multiple times over the design and I cleaned the blade. I've only used the blade once before, there's no way it's dull. I can't find any other people having this issue, but this glossy garbage rips before it gives, I painstakingly trace over the cuts and I can work it free bit by bit bit it isn't worth it, this is garbage, I'll just buy another material. I've been trying for hours to get this to work.
I really don’t know or understand these other people are talking about. This Brushed Vinyl is fantastic! I make sure to use the correct vinyl settings, use a “premium“ blade on my Maker 3, and have cut (use “more”) and weeded very intricate designs with no issues.The strong grip transfer tape is definitely the best one to use. I will say that I kind of touch it a lot, so it’s not so tacky and can still use it at least two or three times and my designs adhere to my projects fantastically!I also use it as a base layer for some custom business merchandise, on glass and it’s by far the fan favorite! I do cut it the direction where the grain looks horizontal, and turns out beautifully every time!.
Awful! Wouldnt reccomend buying this! Stuck to the tube, had to cut the tube to get it out. Poor quality to cut. Ridiculous to weed doesnt stick to its own backing paper. Choose a different brand
While I see so many great reviews for this project, I cannot say I've had a great experience. Actually, I've had a terrible experience! Given Michaels was hold a 50% off sale for all Cricut products, I decided to purchase their Premium Vinyl. It was the worst vinyl I've worked with to date. It was very difficult to weed and almost impossible to get it to stick to transfer tape. After trying to work with it over the course of 2 days I have finally given up and order another brand, which has worked wonderfully for me in the past.
