I've had 7 pairs of crocs. Longtime fan. For indoors, outdoors, fleece-lined, etc. They are the only comfortable shoes for my wonky, bunion-suffering feet. Went to buy some fresh pairs last week and was horrified to discover they changed the classic clog. The inside foam feels more like hard slippery plastic, totally uncomfortable to wear without socks. I was crushed. The salesperson said they're making them in a different factory now. I hope enough people complain about the change in quality that they change them back. I noticed they also changed their sizing, which is a bummer if you order online. I always wore a women's 7, which was now too short by a size. I found a different style, the LiteRide, which felt cushiony like the old classic clogs - a spongier foam.

Why oh why did Crocs change its sizes? Now the size 8 is too small for me and the size 9 is too big. I have been wearing Crocs for decades and really love them. They are the only shoes in which my feet are not painful. A couple of years ago I noticed that my size 8 (European size 39) that I had been buying regularly was no longer fitting me. When I called and talked to customer service they said indeed the sizes had been changed and I should try a size 9. I have bought several pairs of size 9 which kind of work but they are a little big and floppy. I am so desperate to have Crocs that fit me that I have been experimenting with re-soling my worn out old ones. I see from other comments that people have begged and begged for half sizes. Story time: I went pontooning in a river and there was an above average cuerrent. Well being on a pontoon with all girls who have never actually drove, let alone, ever been on a pontoon. Well we got carried away by the current and got stuck in shallow water/high rocks. Thankfully we were close enough to land where we were able to throw anchor to land and use the rope to cross the rushing water. The rocks were slippery and the water was fast. But THANK GOD i was wearing my white crocs because i was able to stay stable on those slipper rocks while the other girls were losing their shoes. Once we got out we had to walk up a huge muddy slippery hill and my crocs were so durable and I barely felt anything! It got me literally through the woods! These do not fit as well as I had hoped they would. I am a size 7 1/2 ordered a 7. They fit great without the strap but I prefer to wear the strap on my crocs at work.i LOVE this color and waited a month for these to come!! I sent 3 emails and called twice to customer service, once being on hold for 18 minutes! It was a very frustrating situation. After finally speaking with someone, the next day, without any reason given as to why things were not sent yet or why my order was in the "being processed" status for so long, they were shipped. So I'm just happy to have them finally and even though they do not fit that well, I will not send them back for a bigger size for fear it will be another month without them. This is my third pair, I love CROCS, I've never had any before now! I'm an essential worker that's been trying to get a free pair for 8 weeks and just treated myself to a pair, and fell in love! Although I love these CROCS and how great they are on my tired feet after long shifts, I don't think I'll order anymore on line after this past experience.
Like other customers have said, the sizing is completely different from the older generation. I purchased my black pair two years ago and as you can see when I went one size down, they were a couple inches smaller. The newer lines are also a little different, they made them a little bit thinner. Im rating this 1 star becaus the customer support for this company is literally the worst I've ever experienced in my entire life, its actually unbelievable. Whether you email, use the live chat, or call them, you won't get anyone who speaks English or actually cares at all about the issue you are dealing with. Super rude and useless, i've never experienced this with any other company, ever. It completely left a bad taste in my mouth having a bad experience from the very beginning to the very end and no one even cared or offered me any help or maybe some small coupon for the future or something because of all of my personal time I had wasted because of the horrible customer service that this company provides. I won't be purchasing any more shoes from this company, I had no idea that they didnt employ anyone from this country or anyone who cares. NO ONE wants to speak to rude useless people who aren't able to understand the task at hand.
I have worn and worn out crocs for years. I have worn size 8 crocs all the time. Sizing has never been that consistent, but close enough. Some fit perfect, some were a little large. The instep was roomy. Every pair I have put on have had what felt like a foam material. They were wonderfully comfortable for wearing around the house and yard. I bought two new pairs for myself and one for my son in law. Both of us had the same issue, way too small, hard plastic, low insteps. Reordered a bigger size, same problem with the instep which was a little higher, but still low. Still felt like hard plastic, especially on the foot nubs. Kept the nine, and find I am not wearing them very often, still looking for my old pairs. My son in law had the same experience, different ... MoreI have worn and worn out crocs for years. My son in law had the same experience, different style. He wears a size 15, so there is not much of an option to go up. We tried a different color for him, and that color came more like the old style. All in all, not impressed anymore.
I resisted trying crocs for so long. These are amazing! I wear them primarily as house shoes because I have plantar fasciitis and need a supportive and soft shoe. The venting and material keeps my feet nice and cool in the summer, and I can wear socks if my feet get cold. I was a hater for a long time, but they really are the perfect shoe.
The Classic Croc is the best shoe of all time. I bought my first pair around 3 years ago. I have slowly grown my collection since then. When I bought my first pair, I received some criticism from friends but since then, I have brought them all over to the #CrocSide and they all realized why I loved them so much. These shoes are probably the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They offer great arch support and have helped me immensely since I have a very low arch. I wear them year round and I love rocking #CrocsAndSocks. I now have over 10 pairs and I wear them everyday. Overall, I hope this review helped you realize how amazing this shoe is. I am in a constant state of comfort because of this amazing shoe and I hope Crocs never change their classic clog.
There are not enough words in the English language to describe my love for my Crocs. They have not only changed the footwear game, but my life. I wore Crocs as a child, but stopped. I have to admit that in the dark part of my life in which I wasn't wearing Crocs, I was a hater. However, due to my best friend Audrey, I was pulled to the light. My feet never hurt from shoes anymore, and they are perfect for rainy weather, not to mention stylish! And not only that, but I am forever changed emotionally. I am more fun and carefree than ever. I have a friend who is a Croc hater, she constantly belittles Audrey and I for our Crocs. I constantly tell her that if she just wore Crocs she would be so much more calm, but she continues to refuse. I constantly tell her that if she just wore Crocs she would be so much more calm, but she continues to refuse. We were like her, so pent up and angry over the little things, but are now changed, brought into the light. I used to think that Crocs were the ugliest shoes on the planet, but even if they are (they aren't), Crocs have taught me to not care about what others think of me. I am not ashamed to admit that I wore my black Crocs to prom. Everyone I know knows me as "the Croc girl" and I believe that is ok. Why should I take offense to a nickname that just means that my shoes are rad?
I really wanted to try and love a pair of crocs. I tried 3 different sizes, but the one that actually fits me - an 8 (I'm normally a true blue 7.5) - scrunches the second toe on my right foot. I've heard that these have changed their design recently and gotten *shorter*. If that's true, please go back to the old longer length!! I have two different toe types: my left foot is a neat taper from big toe to little, like the edge of the crocs, so that foot fits fine; on my right foot though my second toe is the longest, and this does *not* fit the tapered shape of crocs. "Roomy" is no longer generous in both width and length, as they describe. It's only generous in width. "Roomy" is no longer generous in both width and length, as they describe. It's only generous in width. If I went up a size to a 9, the shoes were absolutely enormous and looked and felt like I was wearing flippers. Seriously, they flopped when I walked and I had to take bigger, higher steps. I just wanted these for wearing around the house while I work (since I work at home) and in the kitchen etc., but they're jamming my toe so much it's making my foot cramp and making me worry about creating other toe problems. Definitely not the uber comfort they're advertised as, and which many other people have told me about. Please, please make them longer again, or make more options we can order - for example an 8 long for those of us who don't have perfectly sloping toes. Otherwise the length to width ratio is far too short and wide. Or make a true "women's" version of the clog with a slightly narrower and longer fit, since the short+wide design is definitely for men. One way or the other, if "your toes should *never* touch the front of the shoe", then make a long enough shoe that an otherwise always normal woman's foot (I'm never ever wide or narrow) can fit without touching the front of the shoe. Very disappointed. I really wanted to love these and was hoping they'd be a nice relief for my aching feet. No dice.
