So I was that guy who made fun of anyone who wore crocs. But as I got older and the leg and feet hurt more often then not, I'm always looking for more comfortable shoes than good looking ones. My wife bought my 1st pair so I could wear around the house and I resisted wearing those as well. But after the first few minutes, a light bulb went off and I thought, Oh, I get it. LOL. Now, I'm on the look out for crocs for different occasions and I'll admit, some still look a little silly to me, but a lot of others look awesome. These Croc Mellow is one of them. I love how they look but more importantly, I love how they feel. If you have pain in the leg and feet, I can't recommend these more. They are so comfortable and imo, looks great. Now on the hunt for more crocs LOL.

Wore the mellow recovery slide in size 9 UK for holiday. I have a pair of size 9 regular Crocs that fit great. I am a 9.5 UK in most shoes like trainers, boots, casual shoes etc.I bought this slide in size 9 and it was huge, looked at least a size up in length than the equivalent normal crocs that I have.Super comfy and light however my left slide broke in around 10 days of daily use while on holiday. Both slides developed cracks/tears where the sole joins to the bit that goes over the foot and one tore off completely.Additionally, if your feet are wet on a beach, there is almost no grip inside the slide so if you try to walk up an incline or on uneven terrain it can be quite dangerous as your feet will slip around or out of the slide.They're comfy to walk ... I bought these and just got them today and they are SO comfortable so I really wish I could give 5 stars BUT they run so big. Most definitely size down. My dog loves boxes so as soon as I sit the box down to take them out of the box, he chewed it all up and then I soon realized they were huge. I wish there was a note saying runs large, size down because in the crocs website there is actually a note under the picture that says that exact thing. Wish I would have done my homework because I love them but there so big I don’t know what I’m going to do with them now and now I’m going to have to spend extra money to buy another pair because they were so comfortable but to dang big!

I injured my plantar fascia and wear the slides around the house. I'm usually a size 11.5 in men's footwear; for these Mellow Recovery Slides, a men's size 10 fits. The foam material is not as cushioned as I would like; it is thick and stiff with little stretch. Also, not a breathable material; my feet sweat where they make contact with the slides. These fit and feel better without socks. I can wear with socks, but only if the socks are very thin. I would prefer a smooth surface where you place your feet, as opposed to all the bumps.
I bought a pair of these Mellow Recovery Slides online because they looked and sounded comfy. I followed Crocs' advice to size it down. Actually, this size was the right size for all my other shoes. But this one pair killed my ankles and feet. It was tight but fit the length of my feet. I started walking all day in it. It started slipping out and to the side as I was walking. It hurt both my ankle and walk hard. Horrible experience! I had to use an icepack on my ankle when I reached home.
Ok, at first I wasn't sure at their overall size - as they are quite chunky. But then I decided, you know what? They're crocs! They're meant to be chunky!But the real reason I love them is they are soooo comfy. In fact, I think they call them 'mellow' slides because it feels like you are walking on marshmellows!I recently bought Birkenstocks thinking I would wear them everywhere. Instead, I find myself reaching for my mellow slides every time I go out (and for around the house).Once you've had a pair of these bad boys you'll never want to wear anything else again!

Just to mention that these slides are far more squishy than your normal crocs, I also own a winter crocs and a classic one. Plus the design is modern, kinda like the famous ones, I got cork colour and it's sooo cool! not beige, but not pink!...
