I wore these around 2 weeks at home. First time I wore them outside I could feel them hurting foot. After 10 minutes my foot was cut and bleeding. It's now almost 2 weeks and I haven't worn them since as I am unable to wear any shoes or sandals without a cushioned plaster. I always wore capri flips but these are no longer available. The narrower straps were so much more wearable and never ever cut my feet.
I bought these because I know people who swear that they are the most comfortable flip flops ever but they must have very different shaped feet to me. I am size 38 with a slim foot and these flip flops are truly evil. Day 3 of pottering from a hotel room to the pool and I had such large holes in my feet that blood was running down my foot at breakfast. If your foot is slim, the plastic of the shoe is hard and unforgiving and very efficiently removes skin. Having said that, I gave them to my mum who has a wider foot and she loves them.
As these were so comfortable, like walking on air, I made the mistake of attempting to walk the Las Vegas Strip in the heat. Unfortunately by half way, the dry heat and the Croc material caused so much friction, the whole skin area covered by the Crocs, was shredded, full of tiny slits in my skin. I also gained a couple of blisters, mirror image on both feet, to be expected when shoes are loose fit, they can rub when walking 🤷🏼♀️😩. On inspection of the Crocs after wear, unfortunately one of the thong part attachments underneath had also split. Fingers crossed this is just a faulty pair as I do love my Crocs. Just wanted to advise about walking for long periods in dry heat.
