I absolutely LOVE oysters -- but I *didn't* love these ones! :( The brine is awful. I'm sorry. It pains me to say that because I normally love Crown Prince's seafood! But not these. I have been eating oyster stew for nearly my entire life and for the first time ever, it tasted bad because the brine is just not right. It almost tastes like..not brine at all..?! As if they just put the oysters into a can and filled it with water and sea salt and sealed the cans. I have no idea what their process is, but it doesn't taste like any brine I've ever had before. They smell weird and taste weird! I wanted to love these because they are Non-GMO Verified! But I can't love them. I'm sorry. They are not at all the quality I expect from Crown Prince. :(

I can't believe how high in zinc these oysters are. I can tell they boosted my zinc levels, as well as benefited my hormones. One oyster has about 5 mg of zinc, so be careful not to eat these too much.I believe I may have thrown myself into a copper deficiency by eating eight of these a day, without supporting my copper levels. These are strong!

Very tasty oysters made from good ingredients, the quality is amazing, the taste is good, and I like the texture, it combines well with any vegetable and sauces. The oysters taste fresh, smell like the ocean, nicely salted and the brine is flavorful as well. I placed these in my omelette which was tasty, but I prefer to eat them straight from the can! They really are delicious on its own and a great way to up your zinc! Generous amount of whole oysters and I will def. purchase these again.
Boy were these a disappointment! First the smell upon opening can was a bad omen-unpleasant. Lots of oysters, almost all of which, texture-wise, were "mangled". I tried one and had to immediately discard it. The taste was poor for my palate and I'm glad I tried one before putting some in my cooking food. Quality was poor compared to other raw Crown Prince smoked mollusks in oil. Don't Recommend.
these are super freshy and fishy oysters. they just iust like the ones from the fish market. there is a lot of mini whole oysters in the can and it is high in protein. adding oysters to my meals elevates them so much more than if they didnt have them. i use these in a lot of my breakfast dishes. they are cooked and packaged well. all you have to do is put them in a plate. be mindful they are very potent in smell, if this is your first time deciding to try them!
